Time for another thread. Spring and Summer releases are trickling out to tempt us AND the advent calendar waitlists are appearing...hope you are all feeling suitably Christmassy. 😂

Thanks everyone who continues to contribute to the chatter and welcome to any newbies who want to join in.

Very pleased with the Liberty Caroline Hirons edit - I'll probably use all of it although I will sell the bag because the texture of the fabric sets my teeth on edge!

I am sad though that my Lisa Eldridge velatura balm arrived loose in the box, out of its own (squashed) box and that the bullet is snapped off... I'll message customer services but it's annoying. I do think that somewhere that sees itself as a premium retailer could take a bit more care with packaging and maybe not deliver via Amazon.

Just popping on to mention a few products I love at the moment:
a) the LE balm (rose madder) - I finally tried it on my lips today, and can’t get over how nice it looks. Plus, it smells divine! Might have to get another shade.
b) BoJ rice bran & honey face mask - have used it twice and my skin looks fab afterwards, really like this one
c) Skin1004 centella factor 50 with velvet finish - so good under makeup!
d) Rodial glow drops - I’ve been using over the Skin1004 sunscreen without anything else, and my skin looks like a really great version of “no make up”
e) newly opened today: Missha bb cream from the new SK box. I took a gamble and got shade #23 which looked a bit pale in the tube but went on like a total dream and my skin looks weirdly perfect 😳😂 @IlovePond you might not want to wait for Xmas!
Also opened my new SK glow setting spray with spf which I’ve been so excited to try….no idea if its any better than any other spray but my makeup stayed entirely in place during a big fancy very hot event today!!!

I did a Liberty order this week and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but said it was delayed.

Contacted customer services today and they're sending out a replacement order, which I thought was good customer service 😊

I bought a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and lip liner in Pillow Talk. I wanted ‘my colour but better’ and am really pleased with it! I’m hoping it will be my staple day-to-day lipstick.

All my other purchases today were clothing!

@Fillybuster so glad I'm converting more people to the BoJ rice and honey mask.

I haven't bought anything today despite feeling like I needed a treat after completing several coursework assignments over many hours.

I went through all my London purchases plus gwps last night and that was sobering enough to stop me. 😂

I finally got around to using my Natasha Denona Roxy eyeshadow palette today. I love the mix of colours, especially the sparkly ones. However, one of my eyes kept watering so I had one good side and one where most of it had come off 🙈 I’m hoping it was the nice weather rather than an irritation.
Thankfully, I had my matching Zoeva eyeliner with me as I’d forgotten to use it so threw it in my bag to add when I had chance to nip to the ladies, so I was able to tweak my look

I had watery eyes yesterday too, as did my physio. We put it down to hayfever.

I have the BoJ honey mask put away to try later when I finish a few I have on the go. But I’m really loving the BoJ eye patches. In fact, everything I’ve bought from BoJ so far I’ve loved. My DP is about to try the eye cream. I might have to nick it off him.

@user593 i have the eye patches put away to try later, might have to get them out sooner now you’ve said that! I love the eye cream too, and the niacimide serum which I’m using daily. You’re right: not a dud product so far!

I’ve loved all the BoJ stuff I’ve tried bar the dynasty cream. Found that underwhelming and a bit sticky on the skin. I am really pleased with my new trinny all day foundation, it held up well in the heat and a night out last night, but it’s not heavy and mask like, it’s matte but glowy. Great purchase!
@Thelifeofawife annoyingly as I’ve got older I find that sparkly or glittery eye make up does not last well in outer corner of eyes. I should’ve taken Zoeva pencil out with me last night as I’d watered away make up!

I have the BOJ eye patches and find them quite dry? Does anyone know if that’s just what they’re like or have mine gone off? By dry I mean there’s just not much serum on them. They literally just feel like putting two strips of plastic/silicone on.

I have to slop the serum around in the jar a bit to rehydrate the ones at the top. The serum sits at the bottom.

I have been looking out for the new Guerlain Meteorites compact and Beauty Fresh has them and with a discount so are £44.25 instead of £59 with free delivery.
They appear to have a discount across a number of products on their site.
