Time for another thread. Spring and Summer releases are trickling out to tempt us AND the advent calendar waitlists are appearing...hope you are all feeling suitably Christmassy. 😂

Thanks everyone who continues to contribute to the chatter and welcome to any newbies who want to join in.

For once I’m safe from the JL beauty box. I normally snap up instantly or dwell on it then eventually cave, but this one has too many items that I’ve already sold off from other edits.

I still haven’t taken the plunge with the Harrods GWP, despite wanting the majority of what’s in my basket. If it was £200 limit I’d have done it the day it was released, but the £250 is making me dither because I’m undecided what extra product I want/will use

Usually my daughter would be around but shes away and back next Fri. Ive looked through emails at old orders to see how long it usually takes but only tells you when dispatched not delivered, unlike royal mail.
We are on a main road/route. Can anyone recall how long it usually takes.
I didnt think of next day delivery although if im honest I hate paying for delivery and £10 a time. 😳

@Doglover73 I think you'll be fine, when did you order? I ordered on the 19th, order was dispatched from Libs 20th and is out for delivery today - BUT my order is going via a courier called Hived, not Evri. I'm pretty sure Evri are usually max 2 days from dispatch though, based on previous orders.

Next have a Patchology box out. I'm a bit surprised at the £30 price considering it's mostly single use masks. I would have bought but was expecting it to be more around the £20 mark. They've done other edits with a higher value in the £18 - 25 range.

I'll be putting some of the Liberty edit on eBay immediately - the cleansing balm, the mascara, the perfume and the hair oil. The hair oil is fabulous but I have 2 in my stash already, plus the Davines one and an olaplex one so I'll sell it to buy a leave-in conditioner instead!

Looks like next day delivery is down again at SpaceNK. I hope I get the order I placed earlier!

SNK gwp is instore only. I think they have given up with their IT issues launching it online. At least this is one less thing for me to buy as I never go to the store.

2 dispatched yesterday and the other at 8.50 this morning.

It says its usually amazon so live in hope.
Why do I do this to myself.
Usually I wouldnt be too bothered but big orders and amazon are awful for just leaving on doorstep 🤔🤪

It would require some effort to go to a store this week so I can chalk this up as another thing I'm safe from.

@Doglover73 my order has just arrived, that order was placed the same day as your first 2, so fingers crossed yours will arrive tomorrow latest. I did receive tracking notification this morning that it was coming, although as I said, mine was sent by a new courier company I've not heard of. I'm now trotting off to the post office as I've already sold part of the order on eBay 😂

@Doglover73 I've just checked the tracking on mine, it's getting delivered today, I was never notified though so maybe have a look and see where it's at?

I also can't be bothered trekking to town for the snk gwp, there's nothing really that I want anyway. I also haven't put through my Harrods order. I ended up buying the Dior bronzing stick with Sephora yesterday so that's one thing to take off. I get 10% off Dior and I had £15 in vouchers so I got it for £30 🥳

@Hicupping the ab eye cream is really nice 😍 get using it up! Your peepers will thank you for it.

I will be passing a SNK on Saturday so can report back. I did have a basket ready (not anything I needed of course).

My Liberty CH edit has arrived. I'm really pleased with it. I used to buy a lot of CH kits when she first started doing them, but none have taken my fancy for quite some time.

The perfume is lovely. I don't think I've had a Liberty perfume yet, so it's nice to give it a try. I love a cleansing balm, and it's been in and out of my basket a lot, so I finally get to try it😄

My Ilia order arrived. Super pleased with the cream eye shadows but having second thoughts on the Sunshift Cream Bronzer (which was a GWP, I have too many cream blush/ bronzers/ highlighters on the go already!) and the Soft Focus Blurring Blush in Glimpse (I’m worried it will go orange on me). I think I need to make a trip to an Ilia counter and try them both out first before I commit 😑

@Fillybuster - I have just gone on to SK and for some reason the 5%off in the top box isn’t applying, (it was yesterday).

Anyway - here is a picture of what I see at checkout, (not buying, btw - especially as the extra 5% isn’t working!)

Hello, I seem to think a couple of you have mentioned you swear by CT airbrush pressed powder or have I imagined it? Considering purchasing it as am finding NARS pressed powder isn’t cutting it for an oily t-zone! I tried a little on today in store and it seems to have lasted and not caked. Any thoughts please?

I also bought the Rhode tan line blush today despite having a zillion blushers and not needing another one 🤣. And the trinny BFF all day foundation which does seem to be an excellent shade match and hoping will last all day as promised. My first purchase from a Trinny pop up but I was disappointed at the lack of samples with purchase. Mind you Sephora were stingy too!

Had one email te liberty from dpd which is brill as I can divert to post office if not going to be in.

Just had a look at the new JL box and thankfully this one doesn’t tempt me. I have some of the Rodial blush drops from my Harrods calendar and an unopened Floral Street perfume and the hair primer from the box I got at Christmas.
Also still resisting the Liberty kit, although it is in my basket! I have just ordered another Chantecaille mascara (full sized) from Vinted for a bargain £10. I have the small sized one and love it.
