Haven't you heard? Waxing is so last year! I let mine grow, plait it and tie it to my stockings to hold them up.

I add multi coloured beads to the ends

Fgfgfg · 07/05/2026 15:24

Wait until you get old, most of it vanishes quite naturally.

awfulapril · 07/05/2026 15:25

Grey.

TwoMagnificentLabradors · 07/05/2026 15:27

I'm pretty on trend in my outer layers, but below these, it looks like I'm trying to smuggle Animal from The Muppets. Honestly, who cares?

The regrowth with it is foul. Once was enough. Plus I don’t want to look like a pre pubescent girl. Men love it though. Pervs.

Ah, bingo. Someone's said the child comment.

If a grown adult, with an adult sized vulva, with developed labia and a developed clitoris, compares others with a female child, you are pretty fucked up in the head and need some help. Do you also compare bald people with newborn babies?
I have had all my pubes lasered off. I have a fully developed adult vulva that does not look like a child's vulva.
You can have a preference of having pubes without being a sicko bringing kids into it. Hope that helps.

Shallotsaresmallonions · 07/05/2026 11:57

Did anyone tell you it's something you should be enjoying?

There are lots of things that people call pampering, that I really wouldn't enjoy. A massage would be hell on earth for me. I don't get upset at other people for enjoying them though.

Personally, I do enjoy the after effects of being waxed so it does feel luxurious and like pampering to me.

Can't believe you're comparing getting a massage with have your pubes ripped out!

OP my advice would be to have done what you want, not what other people tell you is trendy.

Jeez mine hasn’t but it hides a multitude of sins so I go for the full bush. The choice of a real feminist. ✊🏼

(Still shave my legs though!)

Well when some men mention the child but that’s when I think it’s wrong.

I wouldn’t be quite so keen to share details about your personal topiary, folks.

It’s such a weird question that I’m not entirely convinced it’s asked in good faith.

Absolutely.

The jokey comments are great, as is a general discussion as to why do this. But sharing personal details on a post like this when OP hasn’t returned isn’t a good idea.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 07/05/2026 15:41

Well when some men mention the child but that’s when I think it’s wrong.

But you are (presumably) a woman, comparing another grown woman to a child on a thread. It has nothing to do with paedophiles. You do not need to shame another woman into thinking she looks like a child because of what she chooses to do with her pubic hair. Do you also shame women in the same way when they shave their under arms or legs?

You mentioned a child. Not a Pervy bloke. Of course Pervy men are wrong. But that's not the situation here is it. I was raped as a child. It's offensive to compare the two so please consider it next time you feel it's necessary to compare an adult developed vulva to a childs.

OP specifically wanted suggestions from the women who pamper, not people who are going to judge her choices.

“ women who pamper” 😆😆

barkygoldie · 07/05/2026 15:49

Dear lord. Please tell me that you are very young?

Dyed green with ‘keep off the grass’ tattooed above it.

My normal hair is dyed green and this made me laugh much harder than it probably should

Everyone pampers themselves in difference ways. The idea of having a bath makes me shudder, for example, but I understand that other people love it. Shaving is pampering in my eyes because it makes me feel better about myself. Each to their own.

For what it’s worth I was also assaulted as a child and I am firmly in the removing all hair is too like a pre pubescent child to feel comfortable with it. You do not speak for all survivors. You are entitled to your opinion and your feelings but some of us do genuinely feel uncomfortable and rather sick at the normalisation of complete hair removal without being pervs ourselves

doublec · 07/05/2026 16:08

Pubic hair being on trend 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

My pubic hair, particularly my bikini line was the last bit of body hair to fall out when I was undergoing chemo. It was also the first bit of body hair to grow back, pretty much over night 🙄

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 07/05/2026 16:09

Is it for work or leisure?

I wasn’t actually comparing an adult woman’s vulva to a child’s but some men do. I do think it looks a bit childlike though, that’s my opinion. That’s why it’s popular in porn. I’ve been sexually assaulted by a male child too, as a female child.

do you also compare having shaved legs and underarms as child like? Or men who shave their beards?

It's incredibly creepy to compare a fully developed adult vulva that has a fully formed clitoris and hood, as well as developed labia, pigmentation and formed hormonal fluctuations with a child. If that's what you genuinely think of when you see a shaved vulva, you probably need some therapy to deal with that. It's weird that it would even be a thought. Same goes for @Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain

You are also both therefore saying if an adult woman undergoes chemotherapy and loses her pubic hair that she looks like a child. Which has also happened to me. (Which I then lasered when it grew back curly.)

It is not normal, and shouldn't be normalised, to compare or even bring a child into discussions about a fully grown adults pubes. I find it sickening.

And again, just because it's a popular preference, it doesn't mean it's linked to a child.

EnjoythemoneyJane · 07/05/2026 16:19

I’m rocking a light balayage and a side parting.

Fingers crossed it’s on trend enough 🙏, although it does bear a passing resemblance to Donald Trump.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 07/05/2026 16:24

ImthatBoleyngirl · 07/05/2026 10:20

Op wanted descriptions.

whatisthis67 · 07/05/2026 16:37

I tend have balayage now so when it grows out the roots don’t notice so much.
I did have braids but the beads looked a bit weird through my leggings.
