DS2's First Holy Communion is in June. Mass and then a party in the local hall. All quite casual.

I've seen this dress. I love it😍 and would wear it on multiple occasions. How can I make it work for this one?

Nearly £60 for a sweaty plastic dress. Shocking

It’s too dark for a first holy communion in June and a bit too goth.

Edited to add it’s fine if you are actually a goth and known for that.

It’s really not suitable to wear to a FHC. You’ll stick out like a sore thumb.
in saying that, it’s a nice dress, and there are others on the website that are nice. I like this one. It’s more summery

Thank you for all your suggestions. I love the dresses in your links. But I ruled them out because brown is definitely not my colour and I think burgundy is too dark for early summer.
