To fake tan or not before sun holiday?

Booked a last minute sun holiday for Saturday and am white as a ghost post winter. Wondered if anyone fake tans before holiday and if so does it become streaky and messy from swimming and sun tan cream? I only use the garnier gradual tan lotion not a full on fake tan. Interested what people do, any advise welcome !!! 🙏

Someone talk to me about spray tan for people like me that are practically transparent! What am I looking for to make sure I don’t end up looking like Ross in friends? How do I prep?

I am well aware how to spell was just autocorrect and I didn’t notice but thank you so much for correcting me on my appalling grammar 🤣🙈

It’s not a grammatical error 🙈😂

Because we don’t all have skin that tans easily!

I’m amazed that some people still sunbathe in this day and age. It’s so bad for you, not to mention the ageing factor.

I have skin that would tan easily (and when I was a teenager I certainly did my share of sunbathing), but now I do everything I can to avoid exposure to the sun. I sit in the shade, wear a hat, wear SPF50 all year round.

Fake tans are excellent nowadays and any ‘real’ tan is damaging your skin.
