Was salon laser hair removal worth it, and did it last? Please help me decide...

Hi, if you have has laser hair removal at a salon do you feel it was worth it? Would you do it again? Has it regrown?
I am very tempted as a clinic has opened very close to my house. I have been waxing every 2-3 months for 35 years but have heard sometimes the lasering can all regrow?
I'd be very grateful if anyone can share their experiences -thank you

@Mary46 yes I think a lot of people have poor results on face from this thread and also on line reviews. Must be better for the specific coarser body hairs I guess.

Worked perfectly on me, I had full body and it never comes back, but I’m extremely pale with very dark brown hair, so probably the easiest candidate!

She said face is very homonal.. hard to treat. Yes my hair reduced its def not gone though.

I am off for a patch test and will report back!

I IPL'd my dark hairy legs and I maintain it was the best £400 I ever spent on myself. I shudder to use 'life changing' for something so trivial in the grand scheme of things, but it made such a positive difference to my quality of life and self image that I'd do it twice over. The time saved alone was worth it.

If they are a decent practitioner, they should patch test you on three settings and do the first treatment on the highest setting you can tolerate. They should patch test you every time after that on a higher setting and keep trying to treat you as high as you can tolerate.

I think it’s the best money I’ve spent. Worked perfectly on my underarms and I had hairy legs like a man and it has totally gone, it’s absolutely amazing and liberating to never have to worry about my legs. Like others it hasn’t been amazing on the face. Bikini line has gone completely but I wanted a full Hollywood and that hasn’t worked particularly well either.

I had underarms, bikini, lip & chin done. I was really pleased with the results, then got pregnant and loads of it grew back 😭
