I'm less keen on its patterned stuff, but there can be pretty decent plainer items, especially dresses & knitwear. This is nice, but you might think it not casual enough. And I think it's a grandad collar, but you might think it's too close to a notch neck!!

OP - you said you didn't like Seasalt/Brakeburn/Weird Fish. I had to google the latter two - but assume you mean the patterns? If so, I think you should still have a look at Seasalt's plain cotton & linen dresses? Most are quite classic & casual & don't scream Seasalt.
