I may have missed it but has Meghan actually worn the lilac dress and coat whilst out and about?

Not clothing related (although he did look smart as usual) but I have been enjoying watching the clips of Prince William watching his beloved Aston Villa win the Europa League final last night, we are Villa fans too. He is a very passionate fan, it's nice to see him letting his hair down (as it were).

I thought William was really funny in his suit and being a fan! I wonder what his dad thought. And do the kids support the Villa or is Louis a Spurs fan?

I'm not sure what teams if any the Wales children support, it's not as if they are from Birmingham, William just chose Villa rather than one of the big teams, which is kind of what happened in our family too. I actually support a lower league team but Villa are close to my heart because my DS supports them (he looks out for my team too).

My family all support different teams. One friend was a Southampton supporter because he was born there...moving to Ireland as a child meant he had no fellow fans!
I hope the weather picks up for the assorted outdoor events the royals have soon.

I work with a Southampton supporter and they are certainly not celebrating this week, it's been a complete car crash for them.

Meghan was photographed wearing the coat over the dress (with an incredibly fussy posed collar - in my opinion. Also, just asking for makeup transfer!). The time line is not clear, but later, or before this picture was taken, she was pictured just wearing the dress with the jacket hung on the back of the door

Meghan needs to wear a lot of American smart casual stuff. That's what she looks best in.
Southampton were very bold. According to a man on the radio spying on set pieces is a massive no no.

She was in Geneva and flew back via Heathrow with British Airways.

The Dutch royals have had their summer photo shoot. Alexia's outfit is very Max - it does make me laugh at how she often looks dressed for a completely different occasion to the rest of her family!

I like the colour of Max's outfit, but I have to agree with Deftly about Alexia's dress! Quite glam.

Fascinating from a psychological point of view: the girls look so much more assured when they are posing with one or both parents. The mix and match of styles makes the whole thing less formal and pompous than it would otherwise have been.

Fashionwise nothing will convince me that stiff-collared shirts should be worn unbuttoned and tieless unless/until drink has been taken. Use a bit more imagination, guys.

Good question. I think the only one where it's not for warmth.

Maybe that's how she manages to do more engagements than any other royals. She's always wearing gloves so she never gets sick!
