Royal Style: Summer's lease will soon be here, as will summer style, we hope!

Edward and Sophie will not be frightening any horses in thise outfits!

This is how they choose to dress when off duty. The equivalent to leggings and a sweatshirt that seems to be the uniform for everyone where I live on days off.

Gorgeous.. Charlene looks beautiful there.

Charlene is on a roll - she also looks stunning in this all-white ensemble (oh, to have a lifestyle where you can wear head-to-toe white!).

I also love these pale spring green looks on Empress Masako and Queen Silvia - who has toned very impressively with the First Lady of Lithuania (and the walls).

Gorgeous gown on Charlene. I'm not a fan of the white suit - it feels a bit big for her.

I think Char looks ah-may-zing in the gown, but I’m not feeling the love for the suit. I like the fact that it’s white but the jacket doesn’t seem to sit quite correctly for some reason I can’t quite put my finger on 🤔

I like Cams' outfit, nice dress and jacket. Not floral! Lovely shoes. Nice to see her Inbetween Becks and Titchmarsh!
Plus, a nice, classic simple look on Meghan.

I'm not keen either - as separates, the jacket and dress look great, but I think Cams looks best in bright clear colours, or pastels. Her colouring perhaps isn't best with black.
Meghan looks crumpled in her dress and that lilac colour is not so good on her. If she'd gone for a deeper purple, I think that would look amazing.

Is it the lilac dress that she wore with a coat in her wardrobe picture? That looked a stronger colour (the dress she wore to her Geneva meeting with Alexandre Padilha).

Ah, I assumed it was the shift dress with matching coat from that wardrobe photo, yes. Just not keen on the colour, too lavender-y! That's a real word 😆

I like Camilla’s style here but agree that jacket would be better in a lighter colour. The black
looks a bit too wintry for Chelsea flowers

eta pretty much anything Meghan wears these days is spoiled for me by being either ill fitting or crumpled. I think the simple column style of the dress suits her though

I don't like a matching shift dress and knee length coat - in a pale colour especially. The dress on it's own is fine, though.

Really nice 👍. Not the predictable floral dress for Chelsea! It's a lovely alternative. Sophie looks good in that colour. I love the shirt and handbag. Do we know where the shirt is from?

I'm never quite sure what the word "frump" is supposed to mean, but both Sophie and Edward are dressed entirely appropriately for a horse show (where they also have official roles).

Yes, I'm all for banning that word. It's horrible and doesn't help any discussion.
