Are these jeans flattering and suitable for me at 57?

Are these jeans flattering? They are a perfect fit , I am 5’2 and I haven’t worn jeans in years. I am old 57 for context and I am not sure if jeans are good at my age . They do feel really comfortable.

Also, I do get what you're saying when you're mentioning your age. It's not a popular stance on here, and I can't justify it logically, but there are definitely styles that I reject now as being too "young" for me. Mostly (for me) it's a question of wanting to look powerful, rather than frivolous, although I'm explaining it very poorly with those words. Anyway, I recently sent back a pair of massive flappy wide jeans because they looked too "young" and not the look I was going for. But your jeans look brilliant.

I'm in my 70s and I have black, light and dark blue and sage jeans, mainly Lands end and M and S. TBH I don't really care what people think. I'm off to have a look at Reiss now.

I'm 56 and wear jeans most days, wouldn't occur to me that my age makes a difference. Currently sporting wide leg flares.

I bought a pair of Marella jeans with a kind of side stripe and a gauzy white shirt today. I don't like tight jeans anymore - I think my shape has changed and I carry more weight around my bum. For that reason I veer toward baggy shapes. But also i have vaginal atophy and tight jeans can chaf my lady bits. I love fashion though - the only jeans I wouldn't wear would be the ripped ones, a la Zara, but i don't think that these look especially well on anybody.

I’m 58 and a big fan of a barrel leg jean from M&S. I find them a flattering shape and very easy to wear.

I wear mostly Levis, straight leg and wide, also their baggy dad shorts for summer. Some older stuff is Uniqlo boyfriend jeans and some very old Toast carpenter style. The Toast ones got lots of Millennial compliments as they were pre-wideleg current fashion, well ahead of the curve.
