Morning
I wash face in shower with African black soap (had a bad skin condition a few years back and thus was the only thing that cleared it so now scared to stop using it!) then collagen serum (currently Aldi , but not sure how good it is) then simple spf moisturiser under makeup.

Bedtime
Wash face with Elemis cleansing balm
REN eye cream
Collagen serum
Nivea q10 wrinkle cream on forehead
Loreal firming night cream.

I should look 21 but I don’t 😂

I mix it up a lot, but mainly…

AM - Votary cleansing oil, Medik8 cleanser, Medik8 press & glow, Medik8 Tetra-C Advanced, one of various moisturisers if I think I need something extra, otherwise just BoJ relief sun rice and probiotics SPF 50.

PM - Votary cleansing oil, Medik8 cleanser, Medik8 press & glow, Medik8 Crystal Retinol 3, one of various moisturisers (I really like the old formula Laniege Cica Sleeping Mask if I feel the retinol is taking a bit of a toll on my skin), Caudalie vinoperfect eye cream, Patchology hydrating lip sleeping mask.

I also use the Current Body LED mask in the PM after cleansing.

I have a whole other routine around laser hair removal and microneedling appointments 😅 I’ve gone from barely washing my face to hyper vigilant in my 40s.

Cetaphil face wash day and night, avene skin soothing cream day and night, morning le roc posay spf then Aimee Connolly moisturising primer, then Clinique cc cream then mac spray. 46 and am lucky with my skin,it’s good and young looking, I just worry about keeping it moisturised as I have dry sensitive skin. Have tried acids etc (went through an ordinary phase!!) but I didn’t look or feel like me tbh!!

CocksBolingey · 08/04/2026 15:02

AM:
Wash face with Elemis Resurfacing Face Wash and Foreo Luna, tone with Vitamin C Medicube Pore Pad, Garnier Vitamin C Serum, The Cornish Seaweed Bath Company Collagen Moisturiser.

PM:
Remove make up, cleanse face with Elemis Cleansing Balm, use Shark CryoGlow LED Face Mask, tone with Medicube Vitamin C Pore Pad, Tretinoin, Moisturiser as above.

Exfoliate twice a week with Neal's Yard Rose Face Scrub.

Samamfia · 09/04/2026 18:57

I used to have a whole many-step skincare regime with expensive stuff from medik8 and Olay. Then life got busy and now I just cleanse with a niceish cleanser that suits my skin and rub with a towel, then a bit of Simple moisturiser. If it’s Pimple Time (one week a month) I use a bit of TCP. Haven’t noticed any discernible difference. I do always wear foundation (hereditary Uncle Fester undereyes) and it has some SPF which may help.

Cotswoldmama · 09/04/2026 19:08

I generally use
AM: Argeline, then vit c, then hyaluronic acid, then spf
PM: boots cucumber face scrub then B. Cleansing balm followed by Argeline, then peptides, then hyaluronic acid, then Tretinoin, 10 mins after the tret I moisturise. - I occasionally also add Q10, ferulic acid and matrixl!

I do have good skin which might be genetic my dad's side have great skin but I'm not risking it so I slather everything on.

If I had to cut back I'd do just spf in the morning, cleansing balm and Tretinoin.

I use skin&me for tret if you use the link below you can get a month free just 2.95p&p

The oil balance in my skin is quite temperamental and seasonal, so less is more.

Mornings I use serum and a light SPF50 moisturiser.
Evenings I use ELF cleansing balm, azelaic acid treatment to keep spots at bay, and then just a barrier cream to replenish.

DearDenimEagle · 09/04/2026 19:48

I wash my face when I’m shampooing my hair. Rinse when I rinse my hair. Dry on a towel .
lip salve sometimes in winter

Simonjt · 09/04/2026 20:09

I have very sensitive dry skin and eczema, if I don’t want me face to look like its falling off

Morning
wash with warm water
Numbuzin 3 toner
beauyy of joseon glow deep serum
skin1004 moisturiser
skin1004 suncream

Evening
oil cleanse with celimax
water cleanse with dr sams cleanser
numbuzin toner
beauty of joseon glow deep serum
beauty of joseon eyecream

tretinoin (every other night and then moisturise again)
Once a week I use aquaphor under my eyes which keeps my eczema dryness away.

Impartialopinions · 09/04/2026 20:28

AM - epionce gentle foaming cleanser
La Roche posay cicaplast SPF 50+

PM - double cleanse with epionce gentle foaming cleanser (I will use the milky cream cleanser first if I’ve wore heavy makeup which is rare)
followed by shark mask for age concern 8 mins
then I use medicube pore pads (the stronger darker ones)
then I use epionce priming oil
then either la Roche posay cicaplast without SPF if I’m dry, epionce calming cream moisturiser or the forming mask

I swap my evening cleanse to a skinceuticals glycolic cleanser twice a week plus I also add in a medik8 retinol twice a week and a Biodance collagen mask overnight once or twice a week

I get Botox around every 5 months too.

My skins really good and glowy, it sounds a lot but it’s not and is all done whilst my son is in the bath each evening as he likes to spend a long time in there!

I also put a spoon of nutrition geeks collagen into my tea of a morning which makes a huge difference- if I ever run out I can feel the difference within days!

Also polynucleotide and skin boosters regularly though I haven’t had time for a few months. I get microneedling done once a month

IcyShark · 09/04/2026 22:06

Morning splash of cool water, vichy probiotic fractions serum, beauty of joseon aqua spf 50

Evening I do face lifting massage daily. cleanse with la roche posay toleraine derma cleanser, vichy probiotic serum again, vichy mineral 89 cream then 2-3 drops of the ordinary rosehip oil. 38 and very minimal crows feet, no frowns lines and one line on forehead.
I have very sensitive reactive skin.

MrsW9 · 09/04/2026 22:19

Morning: Warm water and flannel. Suncream.

Before bed: Warm water, Little Soap Co oat bar, flannel. Then a few drops of jojoba oil. Or sometimes just the water and flannel.

I switched to this from a more complicated array of products a few years ago when pregnant and never switched back.

CDTC · 09/04/2026 22:24

Eyesopenwideawake · 08/04/2026 08:08

Wash it when I have a shower.

Moisturise when I remember.

ETA. What's the difference between clean and cleanse??

Edited

Same here!

greenteaandlimes · 09/04/2026 22:30

Everyone here puts me to shame!
Morning: rinse face in shower; spf moisturiser currently Superdrug vegan collagen spf 20; lip balm.
Night: eye-makeup remover; toner to cleanse face; a night moisturiser, various types incl Superdrug, Neal’s Yard, retinol a couple of times a week, on face & neck (and hands); lip balm
I look ok for my age, early 50s, but am brought down by stress and lack of sleep 😫

BrendaSmall · 09/04/2026 22:38

Wash with soap and water morning and night!
I don’t put anything else on my face any other time

Flatinbed · 09/04/2026 22:43

AM:

  • water
  • niacinamide serum on t zone (The Ordinary)
  • weleda skin food
  • factor 50 on sunny days / weekends.

PM:

  • eyemake remover
  • blue tub nivea as a cleansing balm
  • water
  • revitalash
(- skin food light; if I have dry spots)
  • retinal (The Ordinary)
  • skin food

Every 2 - 3 days: Dove gradual tanner instead of retinal and skin food in PM.

I am going to continue with the niacinamide and retinal for another month to see any effect. The skin food is a non-negotiable.

bryceQ · 09/04/2026 22:47

morning
spritz of hydrating toner
spf
cc cream

evening
cleanse with something oily or balmy
tretinoin
moisturise - rotate these. Just like a rich one

I am really happy with my skin and I (think) I do look younger than I am. My skin just likes lots of moisture!

B0D · 09/04/2026 22:56

AM water and a moisturiser with spf 50 ( just bought that heliocare factor 100 to try as I have some sun damage)

PM superdrug cleansing balm

fivepastmidnight · 09/04/2026 23:23

AM - wash with water. Garnier Vit C eye cream. Inkey Vit C serum, Embryolisse moisturiser on face, Trinny elevator on neck. Garnier vitamin C UV glow spf 50. I never wore SPF until the last because I've started tret. 1'm 58 don't have many lines .
PM cleanse with coconut oil and then alternate either Aldi Hydrating wash or Revitale Advanced Azelaic Acid & Niacinamide Soap , Vit C eye cream, Tret 0.1 with percent /Azelaic acid/Tranexamic acid 5%. - sometimes I put some moisturiser over the top, Trinny neck. I love skin care lotions and potions.

AM
Wash face in shower with cerave facial wash. Apply moisturizer with 30spf sunscreen.
PM
Wash face with clean flannel and cerave facial wash. Apply vitamin C and peptide serum, apply Aldi night moisturizer.

HatKat · 10/04/2026 02:16

I literally use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser morning and night and moisturise with Cetaphil too. That is it 🫣

Stillwearingskinnies · 10/04/2026 05:05

AM
Paula's Choice gentle cleanser
Medik8 press & glow PHA tonic
The Ordinary hyaluronic acid with peptides
Dr Sam's brightly serum
Elizabeth Arden visible difference gel moisturiser

PM
Byoma cleansing balm
Medik8 retinal 10 (every other night)
Elizabeth Arden hyaluronic acid ceramide capsules or Clarins double serum
La Roche Posay cicaplast baume B5 moisturiser

I spend on retinal & serums, not cleansers or moisturisers.
I'm 52 and have been told I have good skin (and that I look 10 years younger, not that it matters and of course it's basically genes).
