spicemonster · 18/06/2008 22:47

I luuuurve you Have been looking for lovely swimwear for an age but couldn't find anything that wasn't eye-wateringly expensive. And now I have something that fits the bill coming in the post!

WowOoo · 18/06/2008 22:50

Thank you. My man needed some new pants and now he's got some!

minko · 19/06/2008 13:13

Ooo, anyone got a 'Miracle suit'? How does their sizing come up? I am usually a size 14 with a flat chest (36A) but their size 14 is suppposedly for 36Bs and 38As and as it's non-returnable I'm a bit nervous.

Thank you Tutter - you have made my month.

theangelshavethephonebox · 19/06/2008 13:58

can't believe I never knew about this site before - have now spent some money and feeling v happy - thank you!

MamaG · 19/06/2008 13:58

ooh are they good MrsT? I need some nursing bras

MrsBadger · 19/06/2008 14:08

Bravado are good, but they are comfy/ supportive/ cottony rather than uplifting / enhancing / attractive. Excellent for the early days when your size changes by the hour though.

I lived in mine for about 6m and never want to see them again.

They do have some more attractive Emily B and Elle McP ones though - do a Search By Size to avoid disappointment.

MrsTittleMouse · 19/06/2008 14:09

MamaG They are excellent for hospital (when you have no idea what size you'll be) and for the first month when you change size every day as they are very forgiving in size (each size covers several cup and bad sizes). After that I wore mine as a sleep bra as I'm really busty and prefer something more structured once things are less tender and swollen. It's the only nursing bra that I've found that is comfortable enough to sleep in. I know that plenty of people wear them in the day though, as they are so comfortable - I just prefer a bit more "structure".

The sizes on the website are really strange, by the way. The way it works is that you choose the style by your breast size (so I get "double plus" for enormous norks) and then you choose the size for your rib size (i.e. I get "small" for a 32/34). But on the website, they don't have small/medium/large, they just choose a random normal GB size from the range (i.e. 34E for my size). It's only when you select the size that it tells you which regular back and cup sizes that the bra will fit. Hope that makes sense!

MrsTittleMouse · 19/06/2008 14:13

back sizes, obviously.
Snap MrsB. ElleMcP doesn't come in my size though.

Mumsnut · 19/06/2008 14:32

There should be some form of virtual flowers or box of chocs to award to Mumsnetters who come up with this sort of site!

controlfreakyagain · 19/06/2008 22:08

I was going to order some stuff from here but everything I looked at said it was non-returnable. Does this apply to everything on this site or just pants/swimming costumes?

Pinkjenny · 20/06/2008 11:42

Ooooh have just ordered a tankini - what a fab website - thanks!!!!!

dexter73 · 20/06/2008 11:44

Just checked their website again and they don't accept returns so have answered my own question!! Don't think I will risk it.

nailpolish · 20/06/2008 11:45
