Those who don't wear dresses or shorts in summer

Are we just bound to linen trousers. Is there anything I'm missing. I always dress in jeans and hoodies and joggers so I always feel bit trendy but in summer I get stuck and feel like a frump in my sandals and linen trousers but there is literally nothing else, rightt?

I have quite bad lipoedema on my legs, so I also live in trousers. Like you it seems to be linen or cotton wide leg trousers. Halara wide leg jeans are good too as the material is quite thin and flowy.
Occasionally I wear a maxi skirts with chub rub shorts. If you’ve not tried them ladies, they are a game changer. Snag tights make fab ones in lots of colours.

I have awful veins so I wear long dresses, midi or maxi. Sometimes flesh coloured tights too if not too hot. Maybe I should just get them lasered away....

Harem pants, …can find beautiful fine soft cotton lawn in all sorts of patterns & colours. I expect they’re available in silks too, I adore them.

I only wear shorts on holidays. On the plane I’m usually the only one in linen trousers 😆. I got myself a long linen navy skirt from M&S and it’s a revelation. Added two tops from very light cotton and now it’s my uniform for hot days. I’m up north so don’t have many of those days.
I wouldn’t survive in a hot climate wardrobe wise, I was born to wear jeans.

Jumpsuits? I’ve got a couple of strappy ones that are perfect for warm days. I don’t show my legs much, I do like long dresses and skirts, but usually in some form of light pull on trouser, try H&M, they have loads of patterns and styles.
