I’m trying to be more consistent
deffo have some adhd traits

so I can swing from one day glam to the next day homeless look

so what I’m trying to do is draw up some minimum standards
so hair washed every other day
bath or shower everyday

feet mosturised

skins care
my whole routine atm is face wash
advanced night repair
then Estée Lauder
sumpreme moisturiser

but I’ve neglected doing this for months

should I be improving this skin routine ?

id like to try fake tan
so I’ve just bought some tan luxe drops

which I’m going to try either sunday night or Monday

I’ve gone through periods of nail biting but I’ve managed to stop again
so they are looking the best they’ve done. In ages
so I don’t know if I’m gonna use gel polish at home
or sally hansen hard as nails
just to strengthen them ?

any other ideas you can add to this ?
or what do too do for yourself ?
how to do make yourself so this ?
any tips on being Consistant

I’ve just binned a jumper I don’t like
wasn’t sure if I liked it when I got it in the sale
and the colour didn’t suit me

so maybe I need to get a few new bits for my wardrobe and sort though my accessories

My basic to go outside is...

Brush teeth and mouthwash
Brush hair and do a half up/half down style
Wash face and pits
Moisturise face
Sun cream on
Leggings and a jumper

That's all. I shower and hair wash twice a week usually. Cut nails once per week. Don't wear make up. Get my hair cut by my mum every few months.

I mean, I suffer MH issues but know I need routine else I’d never do anything but my standards are probs quite low:

shower every two days
hair brushed daily
get dressed daily
teeth brushed every day
deodorant daily
moisturise face every two days after shower
clean nails daily
keep nails clipped
earrings and nose stud always worn
clean pjs every two days
clean clothes every two days
clean underwear and socks daily

believe me, when you suffer with your MH, the above seems really hard.

I have mental health problems too and i can't believe the difference in my list compared to the rest on this thread. Yours is the closest to mine by far. If I can get my teeth and hair brushed and a sink wash, I am winning!

I don’t wash my hair all that often but I always use dry shampoo for grip and texture spray. Regular cut and colour. Good shampoo, conditioner and hair oil. I always have ironed clothes, perfume and jewellery. My nails are short but I use The Manicurist Active Glow polish as I think it makes my nails look nice and healthy. Hand cream. Flexitil on my feet and nails always polished. I use Skinny Tan Tan and Tone Oil all summer and the Tan Luxe drop in winter. Shower every day and apply where needed.
I think good teeth are important so I have them whitened every 10 years or so. I try to stay slim and fit, follow trends for fashion and makeup.

im fairly obsessed with skincare and use tretinoin, vit c serum, hyalouronic acid and peptides.

I take a lot of supplements via Nutrition Geeks to help my joints, skin, hair, nails etc.

Yes I am probably trying a bit too hard, but I’m 46 and fighting ageing with everything I have. Botox has been a game changer, along with Microneedling.

Not sure this is the right thread for this but:

Moisturise your vag!

Nothing expensive, fancy or sold on FB, I've been fine with coconut oil (organic, off Amazon).

If you are showering once a day and washing bits twice a day, that's a lot of stripping of natural oils.

If you are young, this is not an issue. In peri or during/after menopause, this all becomes different- and you can easily get vaginal atrophy.

If all you can manage is an appropriate moisturiser, do that. You can also get HRT topical ones from a GP, but I haven't needed these once I realised I needed to moisturise properly.

Habit- do it as often as you moisturise your face, so it's built in after a shower.

I have a whole routine for this body area now, as I've realised this is about stopping atrophy, minimising infections, making exercise and other things more comfortable- and I wish I'd known about it at 40 instead of thinking I was just having libido issues and discomfort...

(My routine is not fancy, but it includes washing with a balanced ph product or just water, doing pelvic floor exercises daily, whilst curling my eyelashes. I've also used Halle Berry's very expensive 'rejuvinator' which I laughed at initially but it indeed does rejuvinate!)
