If you have lizard skin

What are your favourite products, secrets, tricks and tips? Face and body. If you've improved your dry, dry skin, what's your regimen?

I do have an underlying medical issue that makes it worse (diabetes) but I want lovely soft gently gleaming skin.

As budget friendly as possible, ideally.

My body is worse than my face. My legs are literally scaly. I've basically got chicken legs.

Help!

Okay I need to look into the Korean skin cloth!

My skin is really dry. I mix castor oil with coconut oil (you can get them both cheap as chips from Home Bargains). Works a treat on my skin.

I shower every morning but just a very quick wash of pits and bits with soap to avoid drying the skin on the rest of my body. I have an everything shower 3x a week where I use an African net with shower gel all over then full body lotion whilst still damp.

It has definitely made a huge difference to the softness of my skin and I rarely wear deodorant now as the soap works a treat.

You can get prescription cream for dry skin, much thicker and helps. Xx

Definitely Ameliorate body lotion, takes seconds to rub in and sinks in totally. So easy that you always have time to do it. Not cheap and not the best smelling ,it’s a bit clinical, but it totally works. Not tried their face stuff

Aqueous cream. Dirt cheap. About a fiver for a massive tub. Friend with psoriasis recommended and it's all I use now. Slap it on and let it soak in.

Loving the love for Ameliorate. I found the bath milk/oil from Ameliorate really helped with my lizard shins but since they've had a rebrand and I can't find it anymore.
The Ameliorate foot stuff is magic.

I use unscented.

Body butter straight after every shower or bath ( so most days) in winter. I can get away with a lighter cream in summer.

A spoonful of good olive oil a day will help too. I love it!
