@Fillybuster i bought a morphe makeup brush set a few years ago, I do use a few brushes out of the set and they're nice, especially the big fluffy eyeshadow one 🥰 I use that one every time I do my makeup. The zip on the bag is stuck so I don't use many of the other brushes, I have so many empty makeup bags, I should just bust open the morphe one and put the brushes into another bag so I can actually use them 🤔

So today's tasks are

1. Go into cupboard above the stairs, find old palettes and throw!!
2. Find a nice makeup bag to put all my brushes into 🥰

@OvaHere I was thinking of getting the travel brush set for travelling, I actually carried that set around Superdrug then put it back.

My replacement cult beauty order has also gone missing with Evri 😠! Unbelievable!

Unsurprisingly the first ad that popped up for me this morning was for new Morphe eyeshadow palettes 😆

They look nice.

I think I have enough eyeshadows now. Of course, now I also need extra brushes to apply them with 😆

I've resisted! Although I can get a new customer 15% discount at Morphe.

I think I want the butter set now - so will wait to see if it comes back in stock and whether I can get a discount.

I'll clean all the brushes I have now and donate them if/when I get a Morphe set

Sorry I was looking at the travel set, the one in stock appears to have the same brushes as the Buttery one.
I ordered these, a colour corrector/concealer and the Sunset finishing powder, plan to use this as a bronzer.

My Lovers set has also arrived, along with the LE Betty palette 😍

@Fillybuster Can I ask what doesn't work for you with the Nars Laguna Quad? I was just eyeing it up...

That's one bag of palettes binned 💃 Some of them look very sorry for themselves 🤣 Most of these are just cheapies from superdrug or boots. I've got another bag that I need to find and go through. I feel quite proud of myself and where I'm at now that I can now afford Victoria Beckham, Dior etc palettes 🥰

Hi, code: 40PLUS at LF should take a bit more off the Morphe stuff. I practised on the £24 brush set and it came down to £22.80 with the code.

I've just bought a set from Vinted - they look legit! If they aren't I'll go back to LF 🙂

My StyleKorean Brand Festa stuff arrived unexpectedly today, which was a nice surprise.

It was the purple lucky box, the Glow edit in a plastic zip pouch, several MOEV hair products, (which I will put into rotation after trying out the GG stuff), three small and super cheap make up items, sunscreen and eye cream, serum, face masks and a couple of other things that I have no memory of buying 🙈

It’s tons of stuff and I also seem to have ordered two of the MOEV hair tonic bottles, (I find the SK site very clunky to use so clearly made a mistake there).

I have squashed some of it into my DIY refilled Liberty a/c, (only one drawer to go now and most have several things in already!)

I used the rosemary hair sample just now- very nice!

Total cost: £76.

I am absolutely on a ‘no buy’ for skincare now for the foreseeable future! Fortunately almost all of it was dated 2028, (and I am not that bothered about ‘use buy’ dates, anyway- which is probably just as well, considering the size of my stash!)

My stuff was beautifully wrapped and all arrived safely.

I do love the SK site - it’s brilliant.

Oooh I want that Betty pouch!!! Lovely. I ahem, do have a vintage collection of eyeshadows too..

@IlovePond - mine arrived today too - but I'm not allowing myself to open it until I have tidied up my stash and put everything I already have away. My home looks like a warehouse at the moment and I need to sort it all out.

I'm getting there and listing on Vinted as I go.

@JoRaRaRa - well done for having a clear out - at least a lot of them looked well-used and well-loved!

I must have a stock-take at some point and either use up the old stuff or chuck it!

I've done fairly well with skincare this year but terribly with make-up. I'm currently working my way through different categories in my make-up collection and trying to either a) use them up or b) get rid. First up is brushes. I don't have loads but I do have several that I don't use. So far I've identified three that can go and there will definitely be more.

Gosh I really want that pouch but I can't justify it... she says, already looking for ways to justify it
