It's terrible. I'm in love with all her stuff, especially the tailored suit sets - matching coat, trousers, waistcoat. The whole lot would be around £1500 - talk me out of wanting to splurge on this. Thank you.

@Winteriscoming80 So in essence, you are happy buying a uniform. At the price point, do you not ever look at other brands to vary your look? I don’t understand the need for brand allegiance and following the herd.

Amandaholdenstits · 13/02/2026 10:12

The core stuff - the tweed, made in the UK garments - are the jewels in the crown for JHC; most of the other stuff is synthetic fibres, made abroad. For instance, she has a mini skirt made in pleather (shudders).

I have a few bits and tbh it’s fab. I have a wool dress that is just absolutely stunning and gorgeous to wear. I find the gilets are a bit short but I’ve got a long torso.
i think you have to be careful to not wear it head to toe as it can look a bit bling with all the hardware.

The whole band is about making clothes based on what a poor person thinks a rich person wears. If that’s your style then crack on.

Exactly this. Its very try hard.

I have a few items including equestrian and ski , some good quality other everyday items not so great. I like there clothes though but they are expensive for what you get.

@Pollyanna87 As a member at Cheltenham, I can spot all HC designs at 100 yards! They are all SO obvious and everywhere. Maybe if they were called Mrs Superdry they would not get the sales?

Okay? I can spot them too, I still like them.

KellsBells7 · 13/02/2026 14:35

I think the quality is a bit hit and miss now.

Amandaholdenstits · 13/02/2026 15:54

@OrlandointheWilderness Is that the mini wool dress in jade green? That one looks gorgeous online ...

Thanks @OrlandointheWilderness , that's my favourite dress! Is it true to size or would you recommend going a size up to smooth out any bulges?

True to size and hangs beautifully

Just wondering what fabric is the Ariella blouse?
It says it’s made from an “elegant satin fabric…”
Is it silk or polyester ?
It’s €199.

Polyester. Purchase on vinted. Lovely tops but not at the original price point

OhDear111 · 17/02/2026 01:03

@Winteriscoming80 Tweed coats? What relevance is that? HC use tweed though! HC is everywhere where there’s a horse!

Runningupthehillagain · 17/02/2026 19:13

Oh I do love my HC coats and have had them
since she started out but I’m now looking at alternatives. Customer service was fantastic in the day, not now. I still wear my beautiful coats but I won’t buy any more.
