Looking for a cross body bag in rust or similar - up to £250 - moving up in the world from my Uniqlo £15 one!!

I would love some ideas ... I've never bought at this level before and the sales feel a perfect time!!

I'm looking for a stylish step up from my favourite much-used bag of the moment.. ideally in rust which works with so many of my clothes...

And you're helping me refine what I am looking for - definitely chestnut, a "quiet" elegant bag, with little metal on it (realise I like the look of lots of leather and minimal gold/silver embellishment).... and yes, a saddle bag may well be it!!

Probably a lot more useable that the "elegant Aspinall" look I thought I was going for... though I think I might still be seeking that that.

Thinking of bags I've loved in my past - they've been an unusual shape, gently drawing attention to themselves, rather than in your face... and interestingly an unusual colour....and usually bought abroad (stylish city like Barcelona or similar) So I might plunge for the time resistance one, know ing I will adore using it and then supplement in the next couple of years with a more unusual one...

I have this exactly, in black. Amazing quality bag. I also have balenciaga, Chanel, Gucci and more, I really rate the quality of demellier. Amazing for price, really.

Helped me hone my own preferences too - I too love a flap ...

... but I like some low-key (brass) hardware, & some embellishment (I've accepted I'm just a bit hippy/boho by nature, however much I strive to be polished! And it suits me). I also really like soft (not shiny) metallic leather bags for everyday - they're surprisingly versatile & really "lift" a plain outfit. My current fave is the Jigsaw Ada bag in a sort of old gold, which I found on eBay. It's a great sturdy little bag that fits quite a bit (necessary as I tend to be an overstuffer!!).
