What earrings do you have and how often do you change them?

I wear some big dangly tatty devine ones that come out in the evening, but occasionally I put some small studs in and you've made me realise I've had these in a week!

tobee · 21/12/2025 21:19

Thanks I'll have a go to see if that works @DecemberGoneWild

Depends what I am wearing so most days rotating around six favourites.

For those that sleep with their earrings in, any recommendations for ones that are comfortable? Small studs with flat backs maybe, or small hoops?

I have a disgusting amount. I change them every day. Take them off to sleep, though.

Exactly the same as me

I have a few cheap and cheerful pairs and usually change my jewellery a couple of times a week to match outfits.
Otherwise I just keep the same jewellery on, which is a pair if silver acorn studs and a silver necklace with an oak leaf and acorn on.

I’ve just discovered flat back earrings and they are great. Can anyone recommend any companies to buy from? I’m having problems finding any kind of variety! Thanks.

Diamond studs and I never change them.

Same.

Cyclingmummy1 · 21/12/2025 22:27

Very rarely. I wear a pair of diamond studs in a rub over setting. I take them out every night.

FredaMountfitchet · 21/12/2025 22:35

Real diamond studs - put them in everyday take out to sleep or swim . They are over 25 years old .

I've got 2 holes in ears both at bottom of ear. I tend to wear diamond studs in top hole DH bought me and a dangle in lower hole if I go out but for everyday it's 2 studs. I have some lovely earrings but only wear the dangle ones about once a week on average.

caringcarer · 22/12/2025 01:29

I would only ever wear gold in my ears, never cheap earrings. I take them out about once a fortnight and put stems in TCP for 20 mins whilst I'm in the shower. Then put back once I'm out.

StarlightLady · 22/12/2025 06:04

“Main” piercing - daily and take them out to sleep. Rarely wear the same 2 days running though “Second” piercing, tiny stud, hardly ever. Nose stud (OK, that’s not an earring but…) never.

I’m a side sleeper and sleep in flat back studs and small huggie style hoops. I absolutely can’t sleep in anything with a butterfly back.
