How much do you pay for gel nails?

If you get gel nails done professionally, how much do you pay? Just basic nails.

Mine averages out to about £38 per visit but she does a good job. I'm wondering if that is normal?

I thought BIAB was supposed to be less harsh than the other way (gels? - I'm not an expert but getting 'something' done to my nails professionally is on my to do list as I thought I'd read that BIAB was a good way to get out of the habit of nail biting).

It makes them brittle and damages the nail beds.
While they say it is better than gels - that really doesn’t say much as anything is better than gels/ , biab isn’t good for nails.
