Now I’ve finished it - how do I get rid of it? It won’t fit in my Wheely bin and is solidly constructed enough to be difficult to break it down

I took mine to the dump - too bulky to break down

Offer it on Freecycle. Someone should snap it up.

I have given mine away on the Nextdoor app. A lady came to collect it and she was delighted with it, she is planning to fill it up for her grandkids this Christmas. I've always given them away in the past, they usually get taken.

I found it really easy to break down into small parts and put in recycling. I gave away the one I got in 2024 as it was a lot sturdier and a nice silver colour. One of my neighbours used it as their DC’s advent calendar during the Xmas just gone.

Mine’s gone to the dump. I did use the box fillings for packing away my glass baubles.

Guys I was bored and copied the deets of each product into a document with a short review. If anyone reads this, sorry it's not exciting and now you know how I cover my grey roots :)

Bit hard to please aren’t you @MylipstickiscalledHugMe You should try some of the stuff you haven’t tried yet! The Aveda leave in hair cream and Medik8 have been two of my favourites.

What are other posters thinking now we have had the chance to use some stuff, would be interesting to know?

Ha :) It's funny because on this thread I talked about how much I loved it. I really enjoyed opening the doors every day. I guess it's just that I've used so many products over the last several decades that it's rare to find one that's expensive but worth the money. Eg face creams, I go for thick and cheap (then add an spf)

I have been won over by the ESPA night cream which I was initially sceptical of. I liked the Elemis lotion too, it suited my skin. Not sure whether I liked it enough to pay full whack though.

I wasn't fussed on the Medik-8 serum tbh, and have used the Aveeno, Aveda and Colour Wow products previously so knew they would suit me. The make up palette, primer/fixers, brushes etc went to DD and a friend who will get more use out of them. I did hold onto the Mac set though... looks good on Teams calls for work!

I would definitely take a look at next year's offering.

The medik8 serum and the dragons blood face mask have been my two winners. My skin is so soft. I’m tempted by the monthly beauty boxes now, does anyone subscribe to them?

The Elemis Rose moisturiser was a revelation and I’ve bought a full size one as well as the Elemis Rose cleansing balm (two were on offer) which is hands down the best cleanser I’ve used.

I find the ESPA night cream good but feels a bit heavy. However my skin has never looked better so will be continuing with it.

Sold the Color Wow and Wella bits as not suitable for my hair.

Loved the Eye Therapy under eye mask and have bought some of those.

I have yet to try the other facial products but will try the Dragon’s Blood this weekend.

The MAC lipgloss thing felt gloppy and weird, I have it to DD and she didn’t like it either.

Saving the Sol de Janeiro for my Summer holdiays!

The only other product that was a miss for me was the MyVitamins Coconut and Collagen. Seemed a bit random and not something I’d ever just take.

I sold some bits and gave most to DD. I really like the Elemis and Espa creams though.
I had the M&S calendar as well and I found those products much more usable for me.

Lots I haven't tried yet but love the Espa night cream and the Elemis rose cream. The only real miss for me was the wristbands - I wash my face with water every night and have never had an issue with getting my arms wet

They've been gifted to a friend's daughter, and the palette I also gave away, only because I have other similar things already.
