How to fix my forehead!!!! Hate it!!

I have a lot of migraines and think it causes me to frown a lot or muscle tension so have this wavy skin across my forehead and want to tighten it. Is Botox my only option? The rest of the lines on face are ok. I’m late 40’s. Anyone found anything other than Botox or fillers that would tighten it a bit.

Hardly an exaggeration - it's simply pointing out the truth.

That's your opinion though @SirChenjins.

Why for goodness sake? If you think a line free face and a neck, chest and hands with lines is a good look then crack on. I'm in my 50s - women (it's mainly women) who have this look odd (imo obvs).

Sorry to break it to you, but it takes more than a few units of Botox between the brows to erase every line on your face. If only…

BeeMyBaby · 28/11/2025 11:16

Maybe try hifu? Would be about £100 just for the forehead and is meant to last 9-12m.

littleamanda · 28/11/2025 11:21

Your forehead looks fine but if it bothers you then yeah, botox. Ask for baby Botox to start off with - and choose somewhere that offers a top up, so if you want more you can add it at the top up. Try following a few local places on Instagram and look at their before and afters, it will give you an idea of what their work is like. And don’t go cheap!!! If you’re in the midlands, I can recommend someone amazing 🤩 good luck!!

ohpoowhatnow · 28/11/2025 11:29

botox would completely fix this

I had HIFU, full face, coat a fortune and 3m later I can’t see a difference !!! So annoying

It's not an opinion - botox might erase the lines on a 40 or 50-somethings forehead, but they will still be visible on their neck, chest and hands.

Yes

Yes

Actually- you can have loads of treatments, including Botox, on hands and chest to address wrinkles. It’s possible to keep it all at bay if you’re committed enough!

SirChenjins · 28/11/2025 12:46

Botox isn't going to do anything for loose skin on your hands that increases with age. Fillers maybe, but not botox. And yeah, you'd need to be really committed (mad) to keep everything injected!

Oh for gods sake do I really need to explain it . You said it wasn't a good look having a face with no wrinkles when you have wrinkles elsewhere. That's your opinion not a fact ! 🙄

SirChenjins · 28/11/2025 18:37

You need to quote the post you're referring to, yes.

I presumed the "imo obvs" made that clear.

Not here it wasn't but this to and fro is boring for the person looking for advice. You prefer to be wrinkly and fair enough - no need though to come on and comment adversely about those who want to use it . To quote Forrest Gump " and that's all I've got to say ".

TheGrimSmile · 28/11/2025 21:24

Your skin is amazing for late 40s. Have you thought about trying botox to alleviate your migraines? Im not sure how/ where they inject it but it is a thing.

The OP said earlier she'd tried botox for her migraines but they did nothing for them sadly.

Wouldn't botox fix the ageing lines?
