How to look better at 50 (ish)

I don't mean younger.

I mean healthier, I think. Fresher. Less knackered.

When I look in the mirror I always look tired and old.

I am not trying to look younger, just nicer.

What works for you? More exercise? Better diet? Better sleep? Different make up? Or do I just need to suck it up and accept that this is how I look now?

I use a concealer from Dermacol that I buy for £7-8 on eBay. Recommended by a make up artist who covers tattoos. Better than all the Nars, hourglass etc concealers I have bought. Price isn’t always everything.

What is a ‘ professional brand’ please?

Well the powder was from Ben Nye. Look at the backstage makeup website for other brands

Okay, everyone has covered the good stuff - but I’ve got to chuck in salmon sperm microneedling. Everyone keeps telling me how good my make up looks and thats the only
thing I’ve changed. My skin glows now!

Actually salmon sperm?
as in, jizz of a salmon?
where do you get it??

I work full time and 80% of our meals are homemade. Salmon stirfry, omelette, home made soups for lunch….

Ok, but the poster said 100%.
Are you home every evening to do the cooking? Sometimes I'm not home in the evening so even if I cook on Sunday for Monday-Wednesday, I'm not going to be able to necessarily to do it on Wednesday for the last half of the week.

I googled this and it's not as bad as I thought.

I'm 50 soon and I've booked to have my eyebrows semi permanently done. I forget which method as the clinician does them all but I have been promised visible natural looking brows. I have always shaped mine but a natural gap in the hairs means they are a bit thin for my liking.

It could also be the influence of the surrounding environment or friends around you? We can try to make some young friends. They might make us younger.
