Jesse London Scam Company

Starling7 · 14/10/2025 19:17

I just wanted to post on here to warn everyone about JESSE LONDON.

I have been scammed by them.

Looking on Trust Pilot I'm not the only one.

I ordered a pair of leather boots.

They arrived a month later and are plastic - shocking quality.

Inspite of being called 'Jesse London' they are soley Chinese and ship from there.

Their website states 30 day free returns.

When I emailed their customer service dept. they told me that I had to pay the return postage to China, and that if I didn't send it back to the correct address that the goods would be destroyed - another scam to avoid any refund obviously.

So please please don't do what I did! Avoid buying from these people!

Same issue, probably same people but different company name. Marlowe and co.

report it to your bank and make a claim, I did and it is currently being investigated. They said I was the 2nd person that day reporting the same company

I nearly ordered some boots but thought price was a bit too good. I asked chatgpt to investigate the company and it gave me various indicators and said on balance of probability it was a scam.

Sorry you were caught out. Did you pay via credit card? You should be able to get it back.

CoffeeLipstickKeys · 14/10/2025 20:37

Thank you for posting to of the scam and I’m really sorry that you get caught out Contact your bank and ask for a charge back.

SurferRona · 14/10/2025 20:42

Thanks OP. Where did you hear about them? I looked at trust pilot, this one is hilarious and so obviously fake: I received part of the Jessy London collection, their classy and fashionable range, which I have to acknowledge mad e a big impression on me. I should also mention their very good and remarkable service. It is really a pleasure to find their total flawlessness even in the tiniest of aspects, and the staff were following very good professional conduct. The way delivery was done, made my whole process very easy and convenient. Such a company that can be termed by using the highest praise words in every aspect of life.😂

CocoaLife · 14/10/2025 20:44

The ‘positive’ reviews on trustpilot are hilarious, even those are three star while talking about a perfect five star experience. Example:

Indeed, Jesse London is the reason I got excited about their grace and excellent customer service. Not one product was found to be less than perfect in delivery. Their customer care team was professional and attentive. A perfect five-star experience that elevates Jesse London to a unique position in the competition.

The red flags for sites like this.

  1. Have you ever heard of them?
  2. Everything is "on sale"
  3. The OTT "about us"blurb. Yes, there are genuine brands with blurbs about how special they are and when you click through to the clothes , the clothes are indeed special and it'll be clothes with a specific, individual , house style. Here there's a huge random selection of nothing special in all sizes and colours.
  4. Pick any item and do a google lens check

Same dress from AliExpress

Other dodgy sites are available.

5.Their returns information. To be fair they do warn that returns go to China.

I know I know. I literally buy and sell online - I'm usually so careful!
To be fair, the returns say that if there is an issue they will foot the postal cost - a big lie, sadly.

I've seen the ads and it piqued my interest because I had a similar shopping experience last year with another online shop also with the suffix "London". I've now noticed more shops on face book with the same suffix and am just assuming they are all the same.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 14/10/2025 23:07

I've noticed a huge number of ads for shops that are a name and a city to make it sound like it's a small, local business. Things like Ciara and Grace - Galway. They are quite often having a closing down sale. A few of them even have a photo of their shopfront which looks genuine, right architecture for the area etc, I think it's probably a real shop with the name on the front changed by AI.

IHaveAlwaysLivedintheCastle · 15/10/2025 00:27

I'm not on Facebook but these dodgy sites are being linked to on this board. For example the dress in the links in my post in this thread appeared on another dodgy site suggested on a "Mother of the Groom" thread.

These sites are awash with red flags. They're not difficult to spot as scams. Use Google lens on any image and it'll confirm it.

If anyone wants to buy cheap, Chinese clothes they might as well go straight to Temu or Shein. They're upfront about who and where they are, seem capable of fulfilling orders and are selling at a realistic price.

Pattiejo · 21/10/2025 23:54

I have got the same problem leather boot are plastic and too small they want 10 dollars administration fee to send back I paid pay pal can I get a refund

weaselpatrol · 22/10/2025 00:37

Always check the hands. Most of the photos on that page are AI generated. Lots of unrealistic draping of fabric, non existent stitching, flat lighting and complexion that could never exist on a real human.

If you paid by credit card, contact the bank and initiate a charge back. I had to do this with a scam company called Arveilo. I received my money back quite quickly.

I was thinking just this. Temu and Shein have no fuss return/refund policies.

Those scam sites are probably drop shipping anyway.

MrsLizzieDarcy · 26/10/2025 14:03

My Mum is a horror from FB buying, and she ordered a load of jumpers last year for Christmas gifts. Instead of wool, they were sweatshirts with a photo of a patterned jumper on - and the worst quality imaginable. We laughed until she told us how much she'd spent. She couldn't get her money back as she stupidly paid with her debit card. This was a company called something- London.

She hasn't learned. Sigh.

I ordered £100 worth of clothing from Jesse London (real company name is AB Com BV). I wasn’t happy with the quality, so I asked to return it. At first, they refused the return and offered only 10%, then 15% of the order value. I insisted on a full refund and returned the items within their stated 30-day return period.

I followed their instructions and sent the parcel to their nominated warehouse in China. The parcel reached customs, and the carrier tried to contact them, but they completely ignored the process. They then told me I was responsible for dealing with customs.

This is a clear breach of UK consumer law. As a UK consumer, I am not responsible for overseas customs, and I am entitled to a full refund when returning goods within the statutory period.

I have now sent a formal Letter Before Action and will be taking this matter to court if they do not refund me in full.

Lesson: Be very careful ordering from this company — their returns process is misleading and they will try to avoid refunding you at all costs, and they are currently breaking UK law.

Lyndaj · 15/03/2026 14:27

They were originally called Jackson London and I bought a dress for £89 without checking the reviews. It’s made of the same material as kids dressing up clothes – that crinkly shiny nylon very very poor quality. If you want a refund you have to return it to China tracked which was over £30 and as the company behaves like a Scam I wasn’t going to risk that so I contacted my bank National Westminster bank with all the information about the company and referred them to the poor reviews they had. I did this twice but my bank did not refund me so I lost £89. Beware!
