I haven’t been able to go abroad for years, (used to travel a lot), but having finally got the go-ahead, DS persuaded me that a long-haul flight with him to his favourite place was a good idea! (I was thinking more about a few days city break in Europe 🙀) I am extremely nervous about the whole thing, so thinking about K-beauty may distract me!

Even with the discount I can’t really justify (tbf I already have livery and 2 fragrance ones). Its not tempting enough

Decisions decisions. I bought the Boots Skincare one - well got it free as had enough points. And I bought the new Caroline Hirons Kit which came out this week. But I’m tempted by that Korean one. Very tempted.

Surprised HN discounted so early - they really must be having trouble shifting them. It wasn't one I'd considered at full price but due to a lucky tax rebate this morning and some unexpected money in my account, plus the discount, couldn't say no.

How do you qualify for the discount?

I'm not entirely sure tbh. I think I signed up to the waiting list a while ago and I'm registered to my rewards loyalty program with them.

I've bought a fair bit from HN and I'm sure I signed up to the waitlist. I've not had an email (as yet). Probably for the best. 😂

I wonder if we're going to start seeing others discounted 🤔 I hope so!! Although, I'm not sure if I want any others. Maybe the next premium, that one is still playing on my mind 🤣

No, it's not for me. I've gone through the contents list and I'm only bothered about 5 or 6 items, 1 of which is the AB rich cream that I've already bought.

Agree. It's a good discount if it was one on your list but I looked at the contents again and even with discount it's still a lot for things I'm mostly not fussed about. Like you there's maybe 5/6 things I would want.

I've bought the rich cream and the renewal oil on vinted, so maybe if I didn't already have them, I'd want it, but there's not enough to tempt me now. I've posted the code with the hope that someone else uses it, meaning that I can't 🤣

I tried the Vyrao Ludeaux that's in the Space NK calendar the other day - whilst strolling through liberty. The sales assistant described it as having 'notes of latex' and I can't really understand why that would appeal exactly, and it was giving more 'hospital' than 'sexy'.

I don"t have a HN discount code but doubt I'd be tempted. I had it in 2022 which was my first year of luxury advents and I compared that to this year when they were doing the 15% discount. It really has taken a step down in terms of the brands they offer and I think I'd not be interested in 2025 now until it hit £150.

I haven't bought the HN fragrance either as there are no large bottles but a 15% or better discount would definitely get me!

Mmm- there are at least six DODS for me in the HN calendar and a lot of other things are minis/GWP size. I also hate the box - it’s super-creepy and I don’t even like looking at it briefly on my screen! (Not that they’ve sent me 25% off, anyway!)

Clearly I am not alone in thinking it’s not for me.

Of course, if they reduced it by 50% for everyone - no special invite needed, then I would probably crack! (I wouldn’t put that box out, though!)

I’ve gone and looked because, …..you know…..weak beauty willed…..but happy to say I’ve resisted. Same with the JL edits. I‘m impressed with my self restraint. I hope beauty karma rewards me with an amazing bargain 😂😂😂
