The Liberty Men's calendar has quite a bit of scent but unfortunately that is well above budget. I feel like there's been even less male orientated calendars across the board this year and there was never many in the first place.

You could consider another DIY one. There might be quite a few of the Perfume Shop AC male fragrances on Vinted by now.

Sometimes the perfume Discovery sets go on sale which could be split up for a DIY calendar - last year I picked up a Creed set on offer for my SIL, I want to say it was probably around Black Friday.

I'd like The Body Shop calender, as the travel sizes come in really handy for holidays.

Am looking for a discount code too, as I got it a couple of years ago for less than £40, so £60 feels a bit steep!

Thank you for all my birthday messages yesterday. 😊 Am off for an overnight stay and a meal in my favourite fish restaurant this evening so might have to try out one of my new fragrances.

I keep looking out for an unboxing video of the JL calendar as these calendars often look more exciting when you actually see them unboxed, but there doesn’t seem to be any yet.
Is it me or do there seem to be less advent unboxings in general this year? I haven’t seen any of the influencers unbox the HN advent.

I thought there seems to have been less. Miss Boux on youtube did a ton last year but seems to have done only a few this year. I guess with the cost of them increasing it becomes less viable.

Well then, that's just cheeky! Was literally just wondering if it might be that. There's definitely no third full size is there!

To add to what @OchonAgusOchonOh said, the candle is also only 70g so that's disappointing too. The Malin + Goetz Leather was a surprise discovery for me from Space NK last year so perhaps I'd like the strawberry too, but it's not enough to make me want the calendar. A poor offering this year IMO.

In the cold light of day, SNK does look less appealing. Someone mentioned a release date but I can’t see it anywhere. Does anyone know when it is?

I was worried I might be tempted by the Space NK calendar but having seen the reveal, it is not for me.

I wonder when the Fenwick calendar will be released. It says early October.

BD site says 14th October but how accurate that is I'm not sure.

I really want to want the SNK fragrance as they wouldn't ship to Ireland last year and I did want it then. But it's a lot of small sizes and they are mis-selling, with the site saying 3 full sizes but only 2 in reality.

Yeah F&M seems to be notably absent too, although I did see one. They all seem to unbox the same ones which is a bit odd. You would’ve thought that they’d try to choose ones that other influencers aren’t unboxing if they want people to watch.

I first bought M&S in 2017 when I thought it was totally amazing so bought it every year since. Then last year I didn't bother as it just didn't wow me. This year is massively disappointing as it's same old same old plus a cheap looking claw clip. I feel like I sound quite hard to please, but actually I'm just looking for something a bit different. I think after 8/9 years of getting the same or very similar products you do get very bored of seeing them (unless they are absolute favourites, which they never are)

I’d be tempted to give Sniph a chance rather than the SNK Fragrance I think. I’ve got the Diptyque so not buying either this year though.

I don't remember how but I did have it last year. Maybe I bought it in store? Not sure. In Ireland

Just looking at the Lumene calendar and if you use GIFT15, it brings it down to £71.18.

I had Lumene last year and really liked it, and the bits I didn't want, sold on Vinted well.

Thank you I was waiting for the colours of the make up. It still doesn’t say which benetint shade you get though. The nail colour is nice for autumn and winter, though I bought the ones from the Vogue Calendar last year on Vinted which is similar. I’ve never had it before. I was in M&S yesterday it’s a shame they don’t put in some of the nice trend claw clips they have wrapped in ribbon or gold with pearl on it.

I can understand the same old feeling. I received last year's as a gift and thought the contents mostly good, so I did think I'd buy again myself this year but agree it's already feeling similar and with the claw/comb/gua sha fillers (one on its own fair enough, but three...). They seem to be making the box being designed by Bella Freud a big deal too, but I'd rather an 'ordinary' Christmassy feel box and the design budget spent on content, even for a less expensive calendar.

Yes I have noticed that too - they have all unboxed Space NK, Cult Beauty and Selfridges but no unboxings of F&M, HN or JL as of yet.

I've ordered from them too and perfumes arrived quickly and all genuine.
