Sorry for three messages in a row! Looking at the info on the John Lewis app about the advent contents the body lotion isn't listed as being included, but I've definitely seen it previously...

I got it and it wasn’t in it and wasn’t listed on the description. There are a few differences with the number of Shiseido and the Elizabeth Arden product.

I have just bought two items from eBay and when I looked at the sellers other items I’m sure it must be one of you. All the items are from advent calendars.

Talking of JL, they just sent me an email congratulating us on our 'anniversary' with a lovely piece of cake and telling me there was a surprise waiting in the app.

I'm sure like me you're thinking, yum free cake.

It doesn’t actually mention the Initio Body Lotion on the John Lewis website, it’s just listed on Miss Boux etc. I have the hand cream as well although it does state protectant on the website.

@SoloCat Patchouli and black pepper is my favourite.

I guess it’s just a case of influencers having incorrect info.

@adventfrantic did you have trinny eyeshadow in JL? It was missing from the app description

@Growlybear83 and @JoRaRaRa I really should have elaborated. The two x 12 day Halloween advents we have are Squishmallow and Micromallows, so no Halloween beauty scoop I'm afraid.

<ponders the fact that a gothic-esque Halloween beauty advent might be a great money spinner>

So far we have November off, but that's a busy month for me as I host the Nigel Slater Christmas Chronicles readalong thread and that starts on 1st November

🤣 Yeah don't let him have any more. The smell of dorade makes me think it'll go perfectly with sequins, champagne, sparkles etc, feels very night out, new years kinda vibe to me.

I opened creed and roja, I like them both, creed smells expensive and elegant to me, roja smells like holidays so that will go away until next year. I liked all the others that I could easily smell too 😊

Thameen made me think of like diamonds in the snow, sounds weird, but it smells sparkly but simple, I'm not sure if I'm making sense here 🤣

BDK gris Charnel is my favourite, I've bought another bottle of it from ebay and I'm wearing it most days.

It's still in stock now and so is the guerlain powder that I bought, so I'm not sure why it's been cancelled 🤷🏻‍♀️ the money is still being held from my account, and my £10 from my rewards hasn't been returned yet so I don't know if to order it again 😕

I like this idea, just a little pre-advent advent calendar to tick us over until December. Butttt we would then probably be deciding which Halloween BAC we were getting in April, which sounds a bit stressful 🤣

My JL has been delivered today but not checked yet. That’s annoying about the Initio body lotion not being included. I had listed it on my spreadsheet but it must have been based on the Beauty Detective listing.
Last year they had PDM Delina perfume with matching lotion

I think Liberty looks very good, would you get bored of diptyque?

Saw a Mac calendar on the brown Thomas website, it looks good.

I saw that, I used to like the Aesop that had a patchouli base. Climbing trees sounds intriguing too.

@SavageGarden23 my JL advent has arrived and it has a Trinny wisdom eyeshadow. Oddly I don’t recall that being in early contents listings but that might just be my memory! It’s one of the things I’m least bothered about I have to say! All the perfumes bar the Versace one smell fabulous.

Is the killian really sweet? I absolutely love the versace, I'm hoping to pick up a bottle or 2 on vinted. Can you confirm the ml of the versace please as I've seen different amounts stated and want to make sure I'm definitely buying a genuine bottle of it? 😊

I just checked and its not listed on the app under product information. Thats was one of the things I was excited about in JL BAC🙄

JL have ballsed up a couple of times recently then as some PP's had issues with the Winter skin box.

It's a lot of money if it's not exactly as advertised.

Can anyone tell me whether the Shiseido eye mask in JL BAC is a pack of 1 or 12? Thanks!

Found you all! Didn’t realise there was a new thread and missed 21 pages! Just seen on instagram that space nk fragrance is coming!! Can’t wait to see contents. Sorry if already mentioned!

I've done exactly the same - completely missed that there was a new thread and spent the last hour catching up. I wondered why the RHOBAC were so quiet.

Almost went for the CB calendar with the glitch offer but stopped myself. I'm waiting for Fenwick as my last calendar (have Liberty, H&B and Elle, also a tea one and a wine one). Actually the wine one arrived tonight and was delivered to the local Kosher supermarket near me by mistake. The manager of the supermarket has just carried it in the pouring rain to my home and he was drenched. I'm not far from where the attack happened today.

To be fair, this item was never listed in the contents when the calendar was released. I know because I took screenshots of the contents list in case they messed up again!

There are two Initio perfumes, but no body cream

The products are all the same as what is currently listed in the website

I think a number of people listed the contents of JL according to the pictures released however bar the Elizabeth Arden the rest of the contents are as per the description on the JL website.
