Skin on neck. Mini facelift?

Hi all
Im 48 and have this horrible loose skin on my neck. So far I've tried microneedling. Check fillers to lift the face. Nothing makes a difference. Im wondering about a mini face lift? It's literally the skin on my neck so dont want a massive face-lift surgery. Any other ideas or thoughts?

The trouble with non surgical solutions is that they don’t last long, make little discernible difference, have to be repeated and maintained , and are very expensive. Over two or three years there will have been enough money spent to pay for a neck/face lift!

This is my way of thinking too. I’d rather just get the face and neck lift. I would never get filler as it just migrates under the skin and looks terrible eventually. Botox maybe, but it’s so expensive and doesn’t last long at all. A facelift with a reputable surgeon would be my choice. (Just not in Turkey - too risky.)

Do you sleep on your side? That can cause chest wrinkles as well.

OP - you look great!

I'm a normal person. That causes wrinkles!

Can I ask what you made to the results of cheek filler. I’m a similar age and it’s been suggested to me by an aesthetic clinic but I’m so nervous about the filler route!

Hi. Sorry I've only just seen this. I like the cheek fillers. I only had a small amount and in fact no one has even noticed. It looks very subtle and natral. I can see the difference though. My face looks more youthful. It hasn't made any difference to the lower face sagging really though

This is interesting, the thinking from the skin surgeon on this podcast with Liz Earle is that estrogen gel can possibly help to improve skin condition from the outside in - he knows that applying topically to post surgery wounds actually speeds up recovery - so interesting, there’s so much more work to do on hormones and skin.

You look slim and most people's neck get those little creases in when in that position.

I had a neck lift 3 years ago and the lift went really high up, so it was more like a lower face lift. A bit of botox is all you need.
