Victoria Starmer's Dress

Does anyone know the brand of the green dress Victoria Starmer wore at Chequers this morning? I thought it was really pretty.

I don't think she looks stunning at all.
On the one hand it swamps her and on the other the tie belt accentuates her tummy. I also think the colour is drab and the floral pattern a bit fussy.

I thought she looked lovely. Really natural and at ease, a kind of quiet elegance.

Well re Melania's yellow dress -
it was said she wore YELLOW for UKRAINE (though the belt was lilac and not pink as some are saying). And not blue - too obvious..
She is from Slovenia and as the papers said is well aware of Russian threat to eastern Europe.
She has ''messages'' in her clothes sometimes and this is the idea about the yellow dress - don't you know?

It does. One of those photos captures the movement in it which is lovely.

I actually think in that one Melania's looks a bit stiff and dated by comparison, though they both look good.

If she’d had a pair of trainers on instead of those courts it would have been perfect but maybe not appropriate! 😀

Also, I don't like all these comments about the dress displaying her tummy.

She's a lady in her 50s who has had children. It's time we tried to take the shame out of a bit of a tummy. She's hardly unhealthy looking.

Oh well that explains a lot - though the pink was confusing in that message.

However, I can imagine this being so as I have noticed Melania often takes care to be thoughtful and respectful in her dress. I thought that particularly at the Pope's funeral.

Just found a photo which seems to back up a previous poster saying that Melania's dress is showing support for Ukraine. Im sure she would have been informed that Camilla would be wearing blue and she has then decided to go for yellow. Both ladies on the end of the photo in their respective colours does seem to reflect the Ukranian flag.

Melania wears great clothes, she has a great figure. I just don't think that yellow dress was State banquet suitable. And the belt did make it look as if she had a bare midrift from the back.

Could not agree more. Some really awful comments. I am assuming the ones making them are soo perfect (or at they think they are).

I can’t believe people are talking about her tummy looking big in it, she looks nice. It’s a normal dress that I could wear for work, and so I think that’s why I like it. I rarely think the royals look nice because they’re in clothes that everyday people aren’t going to wear.

Could be wrong but thought Louisa from The Apprentice wore it on The Matthew Wright Show last year.
