Can't remember this perfect jeans brand of the late 90s

I really hope someone will remember this brand because it's been driving me insane for the last 2 years...

DD is really into Vinted late 90s early 2000s brands and I keep trying and failing to remember the best jeans brand of that time (IMO)! The were probably the first post Levis 'designer' denim brand - maybe a year or two before 7 for all mankind - and they did the most perfect slightly low rise hip-sitting slim to straight dark-ish denim jeans for women with a very minimal V on the back pocket and barely any other branding. Can anyone remember? I'm tempted to look for a pair myself!

Diesel had that logo

There are 4 sentences in the OP, one of which explains that this was before 7 For All Mankind, yet we still have comments suggesting this. Grin

I am appreciating the nostalgia but can't think of any that haven't already been mentioned!

Morgan?

Earl Jeans is the first one I remember being featured in Sunday supplements and costing more than £100

Just here to also show respects for how we looked in our miss sixty jeans.
We did all collectively, no matter shape or size, absolutely rock miss sixty jeans.

Gap jeans were my go to back then. I lived near an outlet shopping village so also had a (heavily discounted) pair of Lee jeans and Wrangler jeans.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 07/09/2025 08:38

My arse looked bloody awesome in my Diesel bootcuts.

Most flattering jeans I ever owned.

IT WAS EARL!!!!

I wore them with a selection of narrow shouldered slim fitting navy shirts with the cuffs turned over (was and still am v into androgynous style but alas no longer have the snaky hips)

I also had Evisu for a more skatey vibe.

Thanks so much everyone!

was it Evisu by any chance? looked more like a m shape on the back pocket than a v shape though?

Came here to say Evisu, loved them!

Handeyethingyowl · 07/09/2025 17:42

I was going to say Diesel. Loved my Diesel jeans!

I really coveted a pair of Evisu jeans and remember being insanely envious when my brother bought a pair.

Earl were THE brand

I loved mine. Then, like everything, they over-expanded and that was it.

BunfightBetty · 10/09/2025 18:22

Have remembered I loved James jeans. They were slimming for a curvy figure.
