Need white communion shoes for dd (aged 8 - size 13) with no/very very small heel - do they exist??

Well, the title thread says it all really.

It is dd's first Holy Communion in a couple of weeks and i cannot find a pair of pretty white shoes/sandals without a heel!! Oh and to be super-awkward, i don't want black soles either - just beige or white.

Any suggestions oh wise mumsnetters

There's lots of shoes here

bluenosesaint · 31/05/2008 23:44

Thanks bored

Had a look through and they're not quite what i had in mind. I'd like her to be able to wear them again (parties/weddings/christenings etc) but to be on the 'prettier' side of bog stardard white shoes, if that makes sense ...

Probably not, lol

link didn't work I think if you zoom in the sole may be too dark

Bink · 31/05/2008 23:50

How about Monsoon ones?

bluenosesaint · 31/05/2008 23:50

Thanks - they're really pretty twinset. The sole actually doesn't look too bad (I wanted to stay away from black so that they don't scuff onto the other shoe)

Funnily enough i was looking in places like wedding shops, debenhams and such ...i didn't think to look in good old next

Thanks Bink. I looked in Monsoon, but unfortunately for some reason they're all ivory - not white

Very pretty though

ballet shoes.....leather ones....look really pretty

bluenosesaint · 31/05/2008 23:55

Mmmm but she can't really wear those again psychomum. I like to get my money's worth, lol

but they are only £12, and leather ones can be worn again, if only for parties

twinsetandpearls · 31/05/2008 23:59

THose monsoon ones are lovely.

bluenosesaint · 01/06/2008 00:03

True psychomum

I would prefer a hard sole (in case it rains) but if all else fails they're certainly a viable alternative - thanks

bluenosesaint · 01/06/2008 00:08

bluenosesaint · 01/06/2008 00:10

Oooh Aero - my dd would love those! Not sure that they're not a little high though ...

...or maybe i'm being a little too square perhaps?
