London and no clue what to wear

I’m going for a night out in London - daytime clothes are fine.
It’s a bar and meal in the evening. I am struggling for shoes because it’ll be a fair bit of walking I think - even in the evening - so maybe not heels?

I am 40, size 8, 5ft 4ish. Not very attractive generally overall.

Also think it might be quite warm weather.

Any ideas?

If you see some of the clothing choices I see in London every day, especially when temperatures are above 20C, you will look fine for certain.

London is not Paris where style still exists.

Probably 99% no to heels, but be aware that certain venues in Mayfair type area will be an exception.

I saw a tiktok of a woman saying she was refused entry wearing smart leather flat sandals.

Not my cup of tea as a venue, but just to be mindful that it can be location specific.
