Bralet/ soft bra for large chest

I can't wear underwires anymore, they're just so uncomfortable with an F cup.

Has anyone found a bralet or wireless bra that is comfortable and lifts the boobs from my knees?

Any recommendations welcome

Also which style of Boody bra is ok for smaller back/fuller cup

I'm a 30f and I find a lot of what's recommended just don't work. Basically, anything that doesn't come in bra sizes is no good for me.

I have some aging Zara bralettes from Bravissimo but they've lost all their support now so I'm shopping for replacements.

Try Cosabella, I’m 28F and they are the best I’ve found.

I just looked at some and thought they looked quite good and then I clocked the price!

Lemonade dolls! Im a big girl with big girls xx

Negroany · 22/06/2025 21:55

I've also spent years trying to solve this problem. Funny how people say if wires are uncomfortable you must have the wrong fit - if that's the case why do so many unwired bras exist?

Anyway, I agree re Lemonade Dolls, look pretty but no real support.

I also don't like pull over ones because I get stuck in them, and I can't tolerate any padding (too hot). Nor itchy lace, bows etc. I don't like the type that come down your ribcage (they roll up). And I also don't want a mono boob or silly patterns.

I've recently bought Por Moi, and going well so far: www.pourmoi.co.uk/products/love-to-lounge-cotton-non-wired-bra/?styleid=94132

I love Wilde Mode. There is a wait cos their items are made to order but they're great quality and durable.

I've tried Molke too but prefer WM.

Try Boody. Made from bamboo fibers, they are very soft and some models come padded so your nipples don’t show when cold 😅 I only wear from them, they’re super comfy.

EmmaM84 · 23/06/2025 08:55

Snag bras. As a 32JJ lady who has tried all the bras, including Molke, these are game changers. Good lift and comfy

Second the M&S FlexiFit!

I’m a 34F and have every colour of these in a Size 10 and they are super comfy and keep me looking perky!

Are you are size 10 in clothes? I doubt you are normally a 34 if you are.

flumpfish · 23/06/2025 10:31

Another vote for shapermint here, I live in them! I don't feel the urge to release the girls after a long day at work either, they are THAT comfortable!

Newstartplease24 · 23/06/2025 10:36

How does sizing work for shapermint? Their site does the breast size less back size equals cup size. But in other brands that usually doesn’t work for me and results in a big, droopy fit. Any tips? What if I have a freya underwired that fits - should I buy the same size?

CyberStrider · 23/06/2025 11:03

Re: shapermint. I refuse to believe that any single size of bra can fit both a 30e and a 36b! I mean I'm sure they could both get into it, but it can't possibly fit both sizes well.

My experience of bralettes that come in s/m/l as a 30e/f is that my boobs try to escape out of the bottom.

Hmmmm I share the scepticism

Flexi fit non wired from M&S, so comfortable! (32F)

Agreed!

DrNo007 · 23/06/2025 11:27

I have a Conturve as shown in @orangemouse post but while comfortable it is too large band-wise (so the back band rides up) and their sizing system suggests that if I go down a band size the cup size will also be too small, but maybe I will try this.

MsPug · 23/06/2025 11:32

I bought a Chantelle bliss bra it separates lifts and gives a great shape

ZiggyZowie · 23/06/2025 11:34

I'm 38 H. and I buy Vercella vitae bras but buy them on eBay as they're dear.

Very comfortable and soft pull on over the head

zacsGranny · 23/06/2025 12:27

I wear underwired bras (38 G) and they are fine. What causes me a problem is the little stiffening strips at the sides under the arms. They hurt on one side. But I have different sized boobs, and it's the smaller side where it hurts.

Squ1ggle · 23/06/2025 13:31

I wore Molkes for years, they were great while breastfeeding my babies but struggled with the wide straps and how far up they come under the armpits. I just found they got covered in deodorant stains that I couldn't get off. I also have very sensitive skin and found that the band rubbed under my breasts.

Then I had a virtual fitting with BellaRosaLingerie but even though the fit is correct the pain of underwires is very real for me so I have now formally given up.

I then tried shapermint (I have the Essentials Everyday Comfort style) and have never had a more comfortable bra so have lived in them for the past 6 months. I do find the band very generous though so would size down if you're considering them.

I want to try the sweetheart style next after hearing the recommendations up thread.

ExtensivelyDecorating · 23/06/2025 14:40

Another vote for M&S Flexifit bras, so comfy and good shape. Didn't get on with Molke at all, really uncomfy for me and had to wrestle them on and off, plus they gave a really unflattering shape.

Pokerprincess · 23/06/2025 14:51

I would second shapemint Truekind® Supportive Comfort Wireless Shaping Bra
best and most comfortable and no back fat. You can also get on Amazon in UK which is quicker.

skyeisthelimit · 23/06/2025 14:52

I have never got on with wired bras, and have never worn one. I buy Triumph Doreen bras from M&S. Old fashioned, but do the job.

nipersvest · 23/06/2025 16:59

I posted a thread about this same topic recently, my issue is large bust, small back, but it was non-wired I was after. My take is:

Lemonade Dolls, very pretty, didn't fit well and no support.
Boody, sizing didn't work for me, gave uniboob.
Molke, didn't order any to try as wasn't keen on the sling design.
Shapermint, didn't do my size!
Sugar Candy, that was the winner for me, they get shipped from Aus but it was quick and there's a UK returns address which is free.

For ref I'm a 30FF
