Urghhhh uniqlo

Morning all. I want to buy this lovely dress but what the heck is this sizing? What a palaver.
I don't own a tape measure and have no idea what size I am.
I'm 5 foot 5 and a standard size 14....any ideas. It's also really difficult to measure your back length when you live on your own.

L should be fine.

I'm a size 12 (occasionally 14 in trousers) and usually buy an M in Uniqlo, unless it's a very fitted style, then I'm more of an L there.
