Do they exist? In my imagination I see something with a chic square neckline and thicker shoulder strap(bra friendly) which come right up under the armpit therefore hiding that irritating little purse full of fat and saggy skin.

The John Lewis 'Live Unlimited ' camis are cut nice and snug at the oxters.

I have the same issue and looking at this tops i can confirm it definitely will NOT hide the problem. The armhole gap is too wide at the bottom.

And ones like this from sosandar. I've been eyeing it up but it's a bit pricey for a 'holiday' top imo (i know loads of posters on this board will be thinking it's a bit too cheap actually). I probably would wear it elsewhere though, but with black trousers it would be very winter and I'd need a cardy and I'm not gonna wear white trousers to work etc. Welcome to the conversation inside my head.

Totally agree! But then, it feels as if there is so much that makes no sense about clothes design…it’s as if they’ve never seen a normal looking woman!

Been looking for decades. BMI of around 22 and yet my armpits are dreadfully chubby. If its breast tissue, it doesn't scoop into bras. It's too under the armpits. Tried bras with extra side stuff too.

I've found Uniqlo bra vests better because you don't have to wear a bra, but it's not as much support as a bra.

This. My bugbear is that tiny little chest pocket that appears on a lot of t-shirts. I reject so many otherwise nice t-shirts because of that. What is it for.

Plus the fact that most shops don't actually sell bras that fit women under about a size 12 properly. They all sell bras that fit if you're slim and flat chested, or larger than average build, but otherwise, forget it.

But until this thread, I had no idea that 'fat armpits' were a thing that so many women wanted to conceal, or that there was a name for it. I'm nowhere near skinny but have never noticed this on me and I don't think I'd care if I did.

I live in vests in the summer. The best ones are M & S ribbed vests, £8.50 but err on sizing down not up. Cos ribbed vests £19 - the higher at the front ones are also a good fit on me.

Oh I totally get it - I was just admiring mine in the mirror this morning 🤣 I was wondering what social etiquette is - not that I care hugely but is it acceptable to show ones wrinkly arm pit area in public?

The Uniqlo, John Lewis and M&S black vest tops are pretty good I think.

I find as I get older that what used to be a camel toe is more unstructured and ‘extra skin’ looking. Like it’s gathered there above my bra because it has no where else to go.
