do you use tip tape and do you stick it to your bra?

Modesty pin to hold it together. I’ve got a few in different colours from Not On The High Street.

FoxRedPuppy · 08/05/2025 18:37

I usually sew a stitch to keep it together or use a small safety pin.

ProfessorFellatioHornblower · 08/05/2025 18:41

Magnetic hijab pin from Ebay.

RentalWoesNotFun · 08/05/2025 18:55

You can also buy a modesty panel which is lace or cotton in various colours and it ties across the front of your cleavage from bra shoulder strap to bra shoulder strap and fills in that area as though you have a camisole top on under. Various styles are available from a few quid upwards.

MidnightMeltdown · 08/05/2025 18:57

I use one of those tiny safety pins that you sometimes get on clothes tags

99victoria · 08/05/2025 19:07

Lace boob tube underneath

LouiseTopaz · 08/05/2025 19:08

I wear tight cami tops that match the colour of the dress under them

Yes, I don't want an insert or a camisole or anything underneath it. I just wanted it to join immediately between my tits and not go any further.

I agree. Those panels ruin the look

SocktopusEatsSocks · 09/05/2025 16:14

Safety pin. Or sew in a stitch before you leave the house - this is most effective and often most discrete technique. It only takes 30 seconds if you have a needle and thread handy. Either cut the stitch at the end of the day or wash it with the stitch in and see if it still looks right the next time you want to wear the dress.

BlackSwan · 09/05/2025 16:17

Stitchy gun. It shoots a tiny plastic tag through the fabric. Works well but not for super delicate material.

Icexream · 09/05/2025 16:19

They need to fit! Imo they're only for the larger breasted, who can fill them. Anything else, pin, camisole etc spoils them imo.

Nonsense. We smaller breasted ladies look very elegant in wrap dresses. So long as they don't gape.

That's the point, they do gape!

Do these leave noticeable pin-holes in your clothes?

Sunnycats · 09/05/2025 16:57

I saw a great way to do this using a kirby grip! I have done it and it works, is invisible as well. It's hard to explain it, not sure if I can share it as was one of those hacks on a Facebook reel!

Magnetic hijab pin from Ebay.

I bought some with gem settings -different colours- work really well.
I have some evening clothes that need an extra fastening and these don't damage

MoistVonL · 09/05/2025 17:36

I now just wear a coordinating cami underneath because it’s easy. But I used to sew clear plastic press studs on my wrap dresses to secure them.

Is that a bobby pin/hair slide? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

I really like the look of these, it wouldn’t matter if they were visible, in the right colours

Ponderingwindow · 09/05/2025 17:39

I sew them when I have time. In a pinch, I use magnetic hijab pins I bought off Amazon. They come in a variety of colors and work wonderfully
