dress code: Vibrant! Dress/outfit needed for party, is it possible to have a bit of an hourglass figure but still look funky?

I am a size 12, biggish norks, slimmish waist, not brilliant legs (although kneelenght and high shoes is fine). Slightly matronly of upper arm. I need a dress or outfit for this 40th do. What I dont want is a Monsoon style v neck, sash waist, flared knee-lenght dress - yes that style suits me but I always feel very frumpy in it. Anyone?

Oh the pink and beige floral one ought not to be allowed in Northern Europe... or at least have a hazard warning:

This shape looks good with big norks and small waist.

There are another couple on phase eight that are nice - the green polka dot one looks good.

pretty vivid but not sure whether shape would work with boobs

electric blue number

my very own little number but it is red
