Perfect sandals no longer sold

Seasalt are no longer selling shoes apart from some slippers. My best sandals were from there, called First Chorus

There's a size 3 on ebay, I'm a size 5.
The reasons they were so suitable for me at work are: toe and heel covered, low heel, buckle closure rather than velcro, quiet sole when walking, comfortable, substantial with a thick strap and the colours were good.
I've checked some other sandal threads on here but I can't see anything as good as these. I bought some Celtic and Co fisherman's sandals, they had a noisy sole plus the leather around the buckle was so soft it tore after a couple of try ons. I bought a pair from Hotter but the velcro strap is too short to tighten properly.
Any ideas of where I could get similar? They don't have to be fisherman style but I do need to cover my toes.

@JoanThursday they are an exact match, thank you.

Did you get them?

Caterpillargirl23 · 04/05/2025 09:06

I did, thank you for your help.

I'll have to get more Vinted savvy I think. I do like those sandals Onebadkitty linked to though.

Yey!

If you want to stock up, Clark's have a very similar style Clark's.

uncomfortablydumb60 · 04/05/2025 16:41

minnienono · 04/05/2025 16:51

I have just bought some more picolinos sandals, I got a few pairs last summer that are still going strong!

Caterpillargirl23 · 04/05/2025 18:55

@NoEffingWay
I do like some of those pikolinos and some have buckles rather than velcro. I might revist.
I think because I have a high instep I can only wear shoes with laces or buckles, ballet flats or boat shoes don't stay on my feet. Those Seasalt sandals just ticked all the boxes. If I didn't have to cover my toes for work there would be plenty of options for me.

@Caterpillargirl23I have the same issues, both of mine have buckles! Ordered another pair today, they are like walking on clouds and I have to look semi-smart at work, so I can’t have my toes out.

Did you see the thread on Shandals on here recently? Shoe/Sandals.

Clearly not the same crowd here!

Happy to report I stuck with them.

Caterpillargirl23 · 06/05/2025 17:04

@JoanThursday I've just picked them up and they look great, thanks again for finding them.
@Notmynameactually I'll try and make the original pair look better with some suede treatments and a resole. Then I'll have a spare pair.
They should get me to retirement all being well, then I'll treat myself to sandals with my toes on show!
