this

I am relatively large lady and finding it hard to get something nice for my sisters wedding.

Was thinking this with linen trousers and sparkly sandals - cant do heels!?

Is it too boring and simple thoough for a wedding? I do like it and would be able to wear it again as well!

If you have a salon spray, my tip would be..

make sure you check that it is done by hand. Sometimes they are done by machine and it is impossible to rub down so you are streak free without lots of practise

Aw thankyou all for still posting - feel overwhelmed with the help from you all!

BIWI - you havent offended me in the slightest and you are absolutely right and do you know what I have started today!

I have lost weight before so I know I can do it and I was on track before xmas and then my best friend died which threw me off course so going to get back on track. Friend and neighbour is a slimming world consultant aand has given me all the literature so I am going to give that a whirl along with my exercise.

Dont know if I can afford or subjet myself to a salon tan but am definitely going to get a self tan thing for sure.

I am going to peruse through all the stuff and make a choice finally this week - will let you know what I end up with and thanks again

Hi TullyTwo

I think we must be long-lost twins - same dimensions, colouring, height, everything!(except I have never been a size 10 in my entire life - size 16 at 14 and everyone treated me as if I was an elephant even though looking back, I wasn't - just advanced - so no inclination to make an effort. At 43, finally trying to get my head out of that space, but not helped by the misery that is clothes shopping. I tried to buy a frock yesterday that was a) not incredibly frumpy b) neither sludge coloured nor lurid/luminous on the high street and came home thoroughly depressed. I can't even buy shoes as compensation, as I even have fat (EEEE) feet.

So you aren't alone. I know this doesn't help you (and I'm following up all the really helpful links above too), but you struck a chord!

Be fabulous.
