i am similar shape. empire line is your friend. it is fairly fashionable at the moment so you should be able to find good stuff.

fishie · 07/05/2008 14:43

noddyholder · 07/05/2008 14:48

I do agree it is difficult to find a nice dress when you have big boobs!

I always have to wear a strappy top under them.

some nice long dresses in Principles though

MrsBadger · 07/05/2008 15:31

Meeely2 · 07/05/2008 15:33

I have tried the Cinch Waist dress from Bravissimo - wasn't too keen on it myself

ssd · 07/05/2008 15:44

I think they are expensive!

hoxtonchick · 07/05/2008 15:46

i have just bought this from toast. it's gorgeous & v flattering, despite looking a little like a deckchair .

fishie · 07/05/2008 21:06

what a lovely dress hoxton.

i look dread in yellow and do not have any more dress budget (persuades self but not entirely)

hoxtonchick · 08/05/2008 16:32

oh go on fishie, buy it . it would look so nice with your curly hair!

Beetroot · 08/05/2008 16:36

that Toast dress would make me look like a whale - I do love toast though - rarely find something for boobers - ususlly for tiny norks

hoxtonchick · 08/05/2008 16:37

it's surprsingly flattering beety. honest!

Beetroot · 08/05/2008 16:38

hmm- not sure

you m,ust be a size 8 for it to be flattering

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 08/05/2008 16:39

How about prom/50's style dresses? If they are cut well, they will give you a waist. Halter necks dresses always look great with big boobs.

Monsoon have loads, but if you don't want to pay their prices try them on and see what it is you need to look for in New Look, DP's etc - iyswim

ZeMNetterWithZeBigBoobies · 08/05/2008 16:40

I must order a Bravissimo catalogue - the last time I ordered, they were only doing strapless tops.

Looks good, it's a shame they are expensive though

hoxtonchick · 08/05/2008 16:53

i am so not a size 8!

No vests although its a shame as my arms are ok but boobs just too big and I find the hidden support ones look even worse.I have some money to go shopping and if I can stop coughing will go tomorrow.i want one dress as I have a couple that are ok-ish.

aefondkiss · 08/05/2008 18:18

any of these?

noddy I have a similar problem big boobs, really love the idea of a dress, but it never seems to work... I like some of the striped dresses on the link above, wish I didn't have to pay p&p to find out if they are going to work... I like the skirts too, they look v comfy.

noddyholder · 08/05/2008 18:23

I like them but would look terrible on me.I am thinking of trying every dress in brighton til i find one!It is for every day not evening and needs to go with flats and heels Kimono shape suits me but not literally a kimono as I don't like silkyOh god I sound like I don't have anything better to do
