Agree the GWP is very disappointing. The spend is similar to previous GWPs, but the value is about half of what it used to be. See this for example from 2020:

And I recall even better ones in early years. I think with the success of the Beauty Drop, Liberty don’t feel the need to do nearly as good offers to get people to spend money on beauty.

I definitely agree that most GWPs are pants today.

That was a really good one. From that GWP alone, I discovered new products that I wouldn’t have thought to try but now continue to buy (the mascara, muscle gel, QMS hand cream and Omorovicza moisturiser).

I've just seen the new kit, but I'm on the fence as I have so many other cleansers to use up.
Has anyone tried the eau de parfum, Ex Nihilo Spiky Muse?

I quite like the look of this kit. I've almost got enough in Beauty Drop credit and vouchers to cover it too, I just need to work out whether I can justify adding the extra items to my stash.

I do like the look of this one, and I've got my £5 birthday voucher to use as well as the credits

I'm also on the fence, doesn't seem as good as offerings in previous years where there were a lot more full sizes, but it's not too shabby for the price.

There’s not much in the kit that makes me excited. I’ve been so disappointed with Liberty recently.

It’s exactly what I wanted, bath oil, body oil and cleanser and I like the bag. The 4 items I’m interested bring it to £165 and I’d make use of some of the others. I have £105 in vouchers between loyalty, BD and the AC candle safety thing. Only thing that’s a dud is the candle for me and eye mask.

I haven’t looked up the value of everything but I do think they inflate the value with the bags and perfume. Perfume reviews on Fragrantica says it’s nice, like Ouai Melrose Place, and it has a tonka bean base

Any guesses at what will be in the up coming box?

I am hoping for some kind of face oil. The packaging for the cosmoss stuff looks cute but someone said its Kate Moss' new line and I don't normally bother with sleb products.

An spf would be nice too. I currently use one by ultra violette after trying it in a previous kit. It's good and would take some beating but I don't love the packaging it comes in.

I’m wanting to try the ultra violette before I buy so I’d be happy with that. Would love a hard soap - not had one of those for a while too. I think they need to add the odd makeup product. Many of the miracle balms and Trinny tints would be good for lots of skin tones.

I love Ultra Violette, it smells gorgeous!
I'm hoping for a serum or moisturiser, but definitely not more tanning drops or a cleanser.

after resisting the Mother’s Day edit (quite easily tbf) I’ve succumbed to the cult beauty scents kit for £35. It’s quite a non guilty price point and the fragrances seem nice from my initial whiff of the box they came in

I wouldn't mind another LBTY perfume sample but then again maybe that's not such a good idea for my points/bank balance as I ended up buying Wild Rosinda & recently Vine Thief after getting samples in the Beauty Drop box.

What else would I like to see in the box - a lip cream, bubble bath or soap.
Some make up would be nice maybe a mascara, eyeliner but not black, an eyeshadow - the Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex one that was in the Advent is fab.
Anything Lisa Eldridge even if it's a mini would be great!

I have a feeling that we may get a brand new LBTY beauty product to trial too.

Changing subject, Liberty stock Victoria Beckham clothes so I would like to see them stock her skincare/beauty products too.

Oh I’d love them to stock VB cosmetics! I love her eyeliner!

Oh no! I’m going to be on hofpr the Beauty Drop! Will have to avoid all spoilers.

Did anyone else get the votary gift with purchase? I can’t seem to get the intense night oil to drip out of the bottle. I’ve tried a needle in the hole but it didn’t make any difference. I don’t know if it’s just that the oil is too thick. I’m scared if I prise the dropper out I’ll end up using too much each time. I’m just wondering if it’s just my bottle, or if others are having the same problem.

I did look at the kit but stopped myself! I’ve got other bits I need to use.
