Should I shave my face?

Women shaving was very much frowned upon but now, I'm 55 (f) and getting a bit hairy. Used to just pull out a few errant hairs and wax my upper lip but it's getting a bit past that. Regular visits to the salon is not an option for me. Any recommendations and/or tips would be welcome.

I can't have laser treatment as I had hormonal breast cancer.
Been shaving ever since.
Looked at getting electrolysis, no where within 30 miles.
Plus they have a waiting list.

Might try an epilator
@EveryOtherNameTaken where do you get numbing cream from.

Why would laser affect hormonal BC? I had 8/8 oestrogen positive BC and no one has ever mentioned anything about lasers to me?

I'd worry about nics n pimples but then I struggle to shave my legs so maybe I'm just not good at it

I have the same problem, but my most stubborn ones on the chin are blonde...someone told me that Lumea does not work on blond hair: is it true?

Laser does not work on fair hair , only dark hair against pale skin

Wilkinson Sword razor, the sort with the razer built into the block of shaving cream. Brilliant!
