What do you 'swear by' in winter?

Just wondering if anybody else had certain things that they couldnt live without during winter?
Mine is from my old faithful Primark! I pretty much live in their long sleeved tops or fitted jumpers and velvet plush (the furry ones) leggings.

I love to wear skirts and dresses but have horrible varicose veins so can only get my legs right out in opaques and leggings which means winter for me is when all my mini and mid length items get out!
I use my Primark bits like thermals so I can still wear my summer dresses/skirts.
(although I have 14 pairs of the leggings at this point so maybe I have a problem!!LOL).

It doesn't really get that cold where we are, but I love the brushed cotton bedding. Also, I've learned that cotton socks leave my feet to get sweaty and then I'll have cold all day. I had years of this until I learned that wool socks are better temperature regulators, so I wear them throughout the year except on days when it's so warm I prefer sandals. I have thick ones for winter and thin ones for "summer".

Wool tights. Denim dresses. Wool cardigans. Wool gloves and scarves. I wear a wool baker boy style hat. DM boots and shoes - just so comfortable and leave me feeling that bit more confident as I'm not going to slip, etc., can run if need be.

For nights, I have oversized , double cotton pj's and nightdresses.

I didn't decades being cold because I didn't understand all of this!

Nordic socks. I wear them all day in the house and deliberately buy boots one size too big so I can wear them when I go out too. Feet have never been so toastie.

Dunelm Teddy Fleece sheet .
We have cotton for the duvet cover and pillowcases ( and for summer a cotton fitted sheet and a flat sheet for when we don't need the duvet )

I thought I'd rebel against the Teddy Fleece but it's lovely , easy to wash and dry and fits our deep mattress , Even DH is grudgingly appreciative .

Thin woolen vests as flimsy as a cobweb but oh so warm. They add no bulk but as so cosy. They are sold by White Swan on A...I've bought enough now to see me out in case they are stopped being made.

It may well be my age, but I really didn’t feel very cold this winter - kept my summer weight duvet on and found I could only wear a coat or a jumper, never both 😂. I do really like woollen socks though - feet were always perfect temp, never too hot or too cold.

Wrist warmers/fingerless gloves. I have some cashmere ones and they make a huge difference when I feel cold. I wear them at home if working at a computer. I usually end up taking them off if I'm walking as I warm up quickly!
