Hi,
I heard I could buy tret in Spain OTC, but now rules have changed.
Can I buy sometime similar in Spain?
Or what is the nearest thing I could get Amazon / Boots?

It's called retirides in Spain. I go into the chemist with a photo of it and brandish the pic when buying more in Spain. Comes in various strengths so decide what you want before you ask for it.

As has been said, you can still buy retirides in Spain. As far as I understand it, pharmacies are no longer allowed to advertise it as it's a medicine, but they can still stock and sell it. I buy it online and have it posted, just have the extra step of emailing to order it, rather than clicking on the website.

Thank you. I'd read that it wasn't available anymore.
Apparently the strongest you can get is a third of what it used to be.

Hi, OP -

Tretinoin, which is the main ingredient in Retirides, is the original prescription retinoid.
Tret is the key ingredient in most of the skincare subscriptions from Dermatica, Skin&Me, etc.

Boots Online Doctor will prescribe Trifarotene, which is the newest prescription retinoid, brand name Aklief. When I bought it, it was £55 for a 75 mg container. That works out very economically per unit compared to the subscription services. I think Skin&Me is about £25 for 15 mg and that amount is suggested for one month.

I think Aklief has a bit of a Marmite reputation but I am pleased with it. The Boots prescription doesn’t automatically renew, but obviously it lasts for several months, and ordering was easy.

I'm on the same strength as I've always been.

I’d like to start using tret as I’ve heard so much about it, I’ve been using retinol on and off for years, up to 1.0.
My friend will get me some tret when she goes to Spain, what strength should I start with? 0.1?
How much does it cost roughly? Is it cheaper to get it in the UK?
Thank you 😊
