Knickers, about 70p.
Vest, about £2.50.

I really must get out of bed and take doggo out! Then I shall wear supermarket jeans £18 and a tiktok shop top £7. Socks were a Christmas present last year, more 70p knickers and an M&S multipack bra which I can't remember the cost of.

whoscoatsthatjacket2012 · 02/11/2024 10:15

This makes me feel bad because my outfit is expensive. But most of that comes from my boots. They are Russell & Bromley and cost me around £200 - but that was 4 years ago and they still look as good as new and I haven't bought black boots since, I used to use StyleBook and seeing the price per wear gives a different perspective sometimes.

I thought similar, my jumper is £200! but no one has included their jewellery? That bumps mine up a lot and wondering if people have forgotten to mention theirs? Or if they just don’t wear any?

edit- may as well add my whole outfit:

skims bra- £50
h&m strap top- multipack so probably £4 each?
Anine Bing jumper- £200
agolde jeans- £290
pants- M&S: multipack, couple of £
Jacket- I just got a new toteme jacket, think it was about £500
adidas sambas- they’re £100ish, can’t remember really had them for a while.
socks are just cheap H&M
bag is an ancient goyard tote, no idea what they retail for these days!

BadForBusiness · 02/11/2024 10:23

More expensive than usual, and unusually, it was all bought brand new, normally I'm the charity shop queen.

Cargos 45 quid M&S
T shirt 12 quid Uniqlo
Trainers 80 quid-ish FitFlop but I've worn the hell out of them and I suffer from PF so they've been worth every penny in terms of cost per mile.
North Face raincoat about 160 quid with a discount, about 8 years ago, again the cost per wear is tiny.
Bra 20 quid John Lewis
Pants about three quid from an M&S multi pack
Socks too old to remember

So 320 quid in all

Love this thread!

Barbour jacket - £140
jeans - H&M - £30
bra - M&S - £15
Cosy Jumper - M&S
boots - office - £60
longchamp bag - £150

I wear pricier jackets eg Hobbs for work, and have my longchamp for everything but otherwise I don’t wear any expensive stuff tbh

one thing I’ve noticed is that almost everyone shops at M&S in some way.

LittleRedRidingHoody · 02/11/2024 10:25

Fab thread idea OP! @AgathaMystery oooh now I want that coat 🫠

Currently in a Primark tee, £5, and H&M joggers, £12? Both years old and what I slept in.

Later for the fireworks I'll be wearing:
Mustard tights from Snag, £12ish?
Black denim skirt from Levi via Vinted, £6
Underwear from M&S multipacks, £15 total?
Black boots from Timberland, £110 in sale
Probably a couple of long sleeved tops/jumper from Adanola, around £40 each
Very long black puffer coat from M&S, £125
Mustard hat and scarf from Superdry £35

Nowordsformethanks · 02/11/2024 10:26

Heavy weight cotton t shirt - £16

Musto coat £350

ApolloandDaphne · 02/11/2024 10:43

£12. I'm still in my Tescos pyjamas.

doopsy · 02/11/2024 10:45

Primark pyjamas, maybe around £8. Slippers were a Christmas present from the kids. Most of my clothes are too old for me to have any memory of how much they cost!

Parry5timesbeforedeath · 02/11/2024 10:46

black tights - Pack of four from Sainsburies… about £3 ?
red cotton long sleeved tshirt from tesco - £11

Fleurchamp · 02/11/2024 10:49

this thread has made me realise I have a Sezane addiction...

jeans - Sezane £125
cardigan - Sezane £125
belt - Sezane £70 😂
vest - M&S - £7.50
socks - free through the post from Bam
converse - ancient, £50 perhaps?
barbour trench - £350 (a present)
bag - £300 APC (again, a present about 5 years ago)
jewellery - no idea as all presents

i feel a bit sick looking at it like this.

Colliechristmasgettingolder · 02/11/2024 10:50
