Yesterday's snow has crusted, and it's frozen where it melted (black ice). My feet & hips are really hurting so I cut my intended walk very short - don't want to wobble on a slippery surface! Lots of people out and about today.
I'm dead happy with my cheapskate jacket & scarf; they've already been worth the money! The Nobody's Child cardigan was designed for a closer fit but I quite like it two sizes too big - it's a comforting wear, and I think the air gap makes it warmer.
You lot make me wish I had the self-control to buy one or two good cashmere pieces instead of ten or twenty bargains! Ain't gonna happen, though - apart from anything else, I'd be scared of wrecking them with my clumsy habits.
