Having a bad day, just pootling around for a couple of hours before going back to bed 😳 Everything is old:

Burgundy leggings from amazon multipack, about £10
Cream H&M jumper dress from 25 years ago
Burgundy suede/fur boots, Hush Puppies, £79
Big burgundy puffer coat, cast-off from Mum
Pants £1.
So I'm wearing a £90 outfit that makes me look like a shabby Arctic elf.
Hoping to recover enough to 'make an effort' tomorrow ...

Ireolu · 12/11/2024 18:32

What this thread has taught me is I need to head into charity shops to browse more! Online shopping has made me lazy, there are some great finds I am missing out on clearly. I wouldn't feel confident with preloved online.

GetrudeCoppard · 12/11/2024 18:44

I was at work today and wore a satin skirt from Nobody’s Child (£50), a jumper from Whistles (£120) and clear boots from Hush (old but I think they were £160).

(Bravisimo Millie bra about £40 🤷‍♀️)

So £370.

Jeans - Morrisons - £16

t shirt - from Thailand, was about 120 baht as I recall. £3 ish. We bought about 5 interesting designs as the airlines hadn’t managed to transfer our luggage in time for a transfer and they’ve been absolutely worn to death; This one has a Māori face on it.

pants and bra- Asda- _£12

BigSkies2022 · 12/11/2024 19:52

I am enjoying the number of vintage/charity shop purchases too.

Utter Slob-o-home Milosovic here today. Everything is too old to recall prices - Gap leggings
UnderArmour tracksuit bottoms
Sweaty Betty vest
Uniqlo long sleeved heattech
M&S bra & pants
Jaegar cashmere roll-neck jumper.

Alpaca socks, Freight.

Day of dog-walking, exercise at home, cleaning bathrooms, dealing with civil service pension scheme advisors and website, and French language class homework. That's my reason for being so slobtastic.

Tomorrow, I will wash my hair, and put on nice clothes, and post about them here!

I have done very well on Vinted overall but have definitely bought some rubbish too! I either resell or give to charity if something doesn’t work - overall I think it balances out (because some of the bargains I’ve got have been brilliant).

I have been looking it up on websites or on my Vinted account - def can’t remember everything and have estimated anything that I haven’t been able to find.

PickAChew · 12/11/2024 21:07

Can't really call it an outfit. Mismatched joggers and sweatshirt, both illustrating the perils of online fabric shopping by being too bright for me, making me feel like a giant toddler. Comfy for a day at home, though. About £80 in all for the fabric, thread and their share of the patterns used.

suki1964 · 12/11/2024 21:12
