This thread has shook me 😲 My entire wardrobe is worth less than some of these outfits. Actually I think my car is worth less. And I’d consider myself quite well off.

Isitfridayyetsophie · 03/11/2024 09:10

@Waffleswithhoney ohh what the row bag do you have? I’ve been looking at them online and love the look of them!

Today I am just pottering around the house, possibly going to a local park to scoot with my son:

bra- boux ave, £30ish
pants, M&S multipack, £4ish
socks- alo- £25
leggings, Varley- £70
strap top- H&M multipack, £5ish
jumper- adanola- £60
slippers- ugg- £100ish (anyone want to recommend their slippers to me? The sole is peeling away on mine!)

if I go out I’ll be in new balance trainers, £120 and toteme coat from yesterday which was actually £670, bag, old Gucci soho disco, £600ish

I’ll add jewellery today:
watch- Cartier tank, 21st bday present
Cartier love bracelet (I know lots of people love to hate these, I got mine on my one year dating anniversary from my husband 16 years ago, I’ve worn everyday except for the day of my c sections)

earrings- 3 lobe piercings: gold Huggies, 2 pairs of diamond studs, all aurum and grey, £1300 in total.
2- helix piercings, Maria Tash earrings £800 in total.

necklaces- aurum and grey diamond connect letter necklace- £1000ish
aurum and grey gold star necklace- £795

rings- wedding band, eternity ring and engagement ring- all gifts.
trinity ring-gift
aurum and grey skin fine band- £60

I am shocked to see it all written down. I looked at make up bag earlier and wondered how much my face costs, don’t think I can face tallying that up now!

I spend a lot on clothes. I don't wear jewelery though. I hate it, I don't even wear a wedding ring .
So whilst I might spend what would be considered a fortune on clothes, I am always boggled by people who spend thousands on jewellery or watches. I can afford jewellery, I just see it as pointless.

The heart wants what the heart wants.

It’s true! I wasn’t trying to be judgy but I’m sorry if it came across that way. I’m sure others would find the amount I spend on other things ridiculous. I spent £15 on some novelty plasters the other day 🙄🤣

What’s interesting is that whether your outfits cost £ ,££ or £££ the multipack knickers are universal 😂😂

OP posts:
weareallcats · 03/11/2024 13:19

I’m not sure that I should keep posting on this thread - I prefer to bury my head in the sand regarding how much I spend on clothes...

Isitfridayyetsophie · 03/11/2024 13:57

@Gloriana1 I do love my jewellery but I don’t really mix it up, I wear the same every day! I’ve never heard of yse Paris before but it looks beautiful, something for the Christmas list, their jumpers look lovely too.

@Britpopbaby I love my M&S pants but they’re not very pretty, I find the sizing is a bit all over the place atm though! Also so impressed you found a Barbour for £15, I live near an oxfam boutique so I’ve never found anything that I don’t think is hugely overpriced for what it is!
