Just watching it last night.. I am not sure he's that good for women. Trussing you up in magic knickers isn't really going to help you much is it? Apart from making it impossible to get the wretched things off.. surely if you do then get naked you'll be covered in marks from the lycra which isn't much of a turn on is it? Do the really need to be gawped at naked on Oxford street? Is it going to be life changing or is it just the attention that does the trick?

I always shudder at the end when they get naked in front of their friends and family - as if their dad wants to see that!

southeastastra · 23/04/2008 20:59

yes why not

yorkishbirdy · 23/04/2008 21:01

depends, do they pay for all the clothes and do you get to keep them?

Cheap - me? No, just need new clothes

Yurtgirl · 23/04/2008 21:01

I was last night when he insisted on blowing raspberries on tummies - even though the women werent keen - I didnt bother to watch any more!

expatinscotland · 23/04/2008 21:02

No.

I'd rather be personal trainered.

I don't care if it makes me thinner, but I like being very fit.

southeastastra · 23/04/2008 21:03

yes but he does your hair and takes a nice picture expat

expatinscotland · 23/04/2008 21:04

nah. i don't care about that.

feeling fit is more important to me.

and i don't see what's the point of getting naked in front of a bunch of folks.

southeastastra · 23/04/2008 21:06

i suppose it's something to do

ranting · 23/04/2008 21:07

No, I'm quite happy with my body, my face on the other hand

Flamesparrow · 23/04/2008 21:07

Yes. I want that feeling of confidence with the body I have.

southeastastra · 23/04/2008 21:18

i can't be arsed to get fit

iamdingdong · 23/04/2008 21:22

yes, but not on national tv!

Flamesparrow · 23/04/2008 21:24

I'd happily do it on tv too. DH would freak though

robinpud · 23/04/2008 22:02

Is he really empowering women in any sort of way though?

Flamesparrow · 23/04/2008 22:05

If a woman can be made to feel better about the body she has, then yes.

maidamess · 23/04/2008 22:08

I like Gok but I think Trinny adn Susannah were better at finding more practical everyday clothes for women..Gok's look is very glam, figure showing and high heeled.

Gingerbear · 23/04/2008 22:09

No.

Driving gloves??????????????
Pussycat Bows??????????????

CatIsSleepy · 23/04/2008 22:11

I really don't ike some of the outfits he puts them in.

one woman said she was afraid of looking like a man indrag adn then in the final show even my 12 year old son asked if she was a man in drag.

that folaty top he put last nights lady in at the beginning did nothng for her - when she walk it sat against her stomach.

robinpud · 23/04/2008 22:30

Poor girl last night. She couldn't sit down as the belt would dig in; she couldn't walk as th eels were crippling so really the only option left for her was to take her kit off.
I think he is nice to the women but one outfit doth not a stylist make...

God yeah!! Go-ok, Go-ok, Go-ok.

BetteNoire · 24/04/2008 00:16

I used to love Gok.
But the Oxford Street window stunt really annoyed me.

Having a lovely soft-focus photo of your own arse is one thing.
Having a bunch of pissed-up students leering at you in a shop window is entirely different.

I think the programme is getting a bit too big for its' boobs.
