Have done all of these in the last three days, have also done alot of deliveries which usually takes my nail varnish off and I have to redo them that night. I'm pleased to announce that my bourjois innovation 1 seconde has lasted for 3 days. Its virtually unheard for me not to have the same nail varnish on for 3 days. Was also carrying around ladders and putting graphics into the wall this week with it on, which also usually leaves my nails in a terrible state.

immaculateconception · 23/04/2008 07:34

Oh and the colour is a really bright pink, there is no name or number for the shade, but it is the only one in the 1 seconde range.

can't afford to spend lots of nail varnish. the tesco make up one i have on atm has lasted two days so far, but it's clear (they seem to be longer lasting). it's passed the sellotape test, weeding and me picking my own finger test so far.

mybestfriendiscalledstig · 23/04/2008 08:26

oh, lovely - I may have to finally give in & join this thread, as I an Conan Destroyer of Nailvarnish.
Can I un-recommend No 7 stayperfect, which I managed to chip on both feet whilst sleeping, ffs.

droopytits · 23/04/2008 09:36

I agree you cant beat Chanel nail varnish - I've tried loads and no others come close.

Ok, I painted my nails with OPI Russian Navywww.opi.com/Russian.asp last night with a base coat of nail envy www.opi.com/trNenvy.asp for sensitive nails. So far I have typed a few emails and its still looking good, thought I wouldn't expect any thing else from OPI.

I have www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?CategoryID=4&SubCategoryID=15&ProductID=90 in one perfect Coral, colour not shown on the swatch panel, think it might have been a limited edition last summer. It?s a fab shade and wears really really well. Like all Revlon nail colours do. Will try and tick off the rest of Cods events and report back.

No 7
Stay Perfect Nail Colour
Very Petal (bright pink)
Put on Sunday night
a)Opened cans of tomato and spaghetti hoops(the ones with the ring pull)
b)Scoured the pan that DH had left on hob empty after said hoops had been consumed
c)Opened 101 Dalmations DVD
d)Been on keyboard at work for two days (not continuously, obviously)
e)Prised off In the Night Garden stickers from the bath, the mantelpiece, the cupboard door, the front door.

Only sign of wear is at base of nail where its grown slightly.

No 7 varnishes are fab. And last even longer on feet, I know I know you're not interested in that.

Get thee to thy email madame Cod. Quick question for you...

MistressMean · 23/04/2008 13:04

I have bathed, hand-washed, changed nappies, sorted filing and cleaned the toys away and it's still perfect

No undercoat required.

I do two coats to get the depth of colour.

My beautician paints my toes once a fortnight, as a part of the pedicure and sometimes it may have chipped off my little toes, but that's about it.

Chanel is the best.

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 23/04/2008 13:29

I got Barry M nail polish in dark blue last week.

I put it on last Weds and since then did all of the events plus numerous other things. Lasted 4 days but then started getting bigger chips that have become more noticable. Had to redo on Monday.
